Love the hotel, its unique interior designs seen all over the place. Our room was small, but well equipped, with excellent bedding, and a small but functional bathroom. The pool is nice and I like the environment. The sauna complex is well designed and has many sauna themed options. I love the various resting areas with the complimentary teas. Well done. They are supposed to get an breakfast buffet award. Great food spread, excellent breads, and offers, no one can ever complaint here. Staff are fast, friendly and real professional. WiFi is fast and a quick check out. On a final note I love all the quirky and nice decor elements around the place. We will come back

What a wonderful place to stay!
Highly recommend.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
We are a family of five and the apartment style room was perfect. Spacious and very clean. The hotel is in the pedestrian zone and ideal for walking , shopping & eating.

We had a good stay because the hotel has provided us with a nice room, well equipped, good bedding. Great pool and sauna layout. Excellent breakfast buffet and we love the quicky but nice design elements in the hotel. Staff are tops and accommodating.

On a recent trip to Friedrichshafen, I had to depart my first hotel for being really poor quality. Looking at what else was available, I was drawn to Hotel City Krone via the reviews and good location. I'm glad I did, as my stay was a delight. The hotel has good accommodations, wonderful amenities (do try the wellness area), a friendly and professional staff, and is in a prime and peaceful location, with easy access to plenty of good shops, and entertainment venue, and fine restaurants (I suggest giving s'Wirtshaus am See on the waterfront a try).

I'd like to specifically mention Stefan, who I interacted a few times at the front desk. He was professional, gracious, and accommodating in a manner worthy of praise.

If you happen to visit Friedrichshafen, I highly recommend Hotel City Krone for your stay.

Very nice city
This hotel is well located but a bit difficult to access. We like the fact that we had a sofa in the room, this is not common in German hotels.
We can walk close to the lake, there are many restaurants around the hotel, including a bunch of ice cream places. It is a very nice city.

The hotel’s location was ideal as it’s within walking distance from the train station and the port. My single room was comfortable and the design was pretty efficient. Air conditioning was available if needed. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of options. The swimming pool was nice to have - conveniently located in the lower ground floor. They provided a nice wellness bag with sauna towels as well as a bathrobe if you need it. At the ground floor, free water and even hot water with tea were available. Apples and popcorn were also provided for free.
