Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr vielseitig. Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral, sehr gut erreichbar und guter Ausgangspunkt für alle Aktivitäten.

I am not a biker and this place is fantastic for bikers, but don't let that put you off if you are a non biker as we're talking responsible bikers. Food is good, drinks are reasonably priced and in my short visit the staff were friendly and toilets spotless.

As a chef myself, I love eating food that has been prepared and cooked with absolute care and attention to ingredients. It doesn’t matter the price, I appreciate skill. Tonight I gorged on egg noodles, maultaschen and meatballs that were so perfectly cooked, regional dishes given such love, that simple food becomes elevated to something special. Amazing view and nice service 🔥 The hotel is wonderful! The view from the balcony is totally amazing, we fell in love with it! The room was clean and comfortable, the owner of the hotel was friendly and very helpful, the staff also is nice and kind. The pool in the morning was the best start of a new day! We were happy to stay here!

Somewhat older hotel with a great view of the valley. staff very friendly. Could do with a major refurbishment, with some paint and new wood this could be a big upgrade. Wellness area small but pleasant. Breakfast completely sufficient. Town center within walking distance, as well as various hiking trails.

Great starting point for hikes on beautiful premium hiking trails directly from the hotel. Use of the sauna and indoor pool is uncomplicated after consultation. Living like 40 years ago, old but clean! Relaxed interaction between staff and guests, low prices! Gladly again, with a great view of the village.

Great for an overnight stay, but don't expect too much from the indoor pool. You have to register in advance for the sauna to be heated up and it costs extra. Rooms are large, clean and have a beautiful view. Unfortunately there is only breakfast (additional cost) They were all very friendly 👍🏻

Very beautiful scenery, amazing atmosphere. It’s very quiet during the night. Rooms were big and comfortable. However, the windows and balcony did not haveThe iron fence for the bugs ( dunno what’s it called) so we had A bit of an incident with bugs.

First time in the Black Forest, very good base for excursions. Nice hotel (3*) However, a few comments: 1) 5 course menu is exaggerated, "small salad" is not a course... 2) Good and friendly service, but the boss was very nervous 3) Lunch snack was not possible, lunch package minimal 4) When paying, just pay, not asked if we had a good holiday... Pros: delicious (traditional) food. Great sauna area. Fantastic selection of hikes in the vicinity. Very clean. Friendly staff (for the most part). Good special offer packages on website - value for money. Cons: Rooms a little outdated. Some staff occasionally grumpy. Limited communication between staff on arrangements made for guests.

This hotel is highly recommended, the owners are very friendly as well as the staff. The breakfast buffet is extensive and the dinner is very tasty. We booked a superior room and it met our expectations. Outside the hotel there is not much to see in the area, but one can take a little train and visit several towns. The hotel is more than OK, but the surroundings are less so

Beautiful rooms with terrace. Excellent breakfast with the option to order fresh egg preparations during breakfast + very wide choice of all kinds of breakfast items. Very tasty food, the only disadvantage (for me…) was that you are expected to be at the table between 1800 and 1900.

We enjoyed another wonderful family stay at this hotel. We did regional trips from here to Baden Baden, Black Forest region, and Alprisbach. The breakfast service was a perfect start each morning.

Great views. Restaurant has an awesome terrace to have your meals surrounded by the valley mountains. Clean rooms, comfy bed. There is a water creek nearby with a mini waterfall. Staff was very friendly.

Following instructions from Silki, we received a nice walking route upon arrival, which we gratefully accepted. Location of Kniebis: About 10km west of Freudenstadt the nearest rail station. Buses to Kniebis from Freudenstadt every hour weekdays or two on Sundays during day. Ideal hiking country with Kniebis at the top of a mountain pass. The town was once a holiday Mecca but lost our to cheep package holidays in 1970/80s and most hotels closed. We arrived late in the evening, and were welcomed with a lovely hand written letter explaining where our room is and inviting us to breakfast the next morning. Amazing location on the crossroads of multiple walking paths, and quality service. Overall good experience.

We checked in today and so far we absolutely love it, the food from the restaurant is delicious and prepared with love. We are staying in the apartment and its absolutely perfect for my husband and myself and fits our two large dogs easily.

You'll never want to leave This was the best stay ever. If you get the chance to visit here, try for at least two nights, if not more. We hated to leave. The spa is wonderful. The restaurant has an amazing menu. They do a fantastic job with the breakfast buffet. Absolutely beautiful property.

Lovely hotel in beautiful nature setting! I absolutely loved this place! We had a family room for 4 and it was so roomy and nice. This place is in the middle of nowhere and was down windy small road but SO worth it! We had a very nice breakfast and we didn't take advantage but there was a spa on property as well.

We were in this year 2015, for the 3. Changes in the Klösterle Hof and are always delighted by the warm welcome, the excellent menu and attentive Service. Klösterle Hof is a gem in this beautiful part of the black forest, and can all be recommended only in search of rest and hikes also a culinary Highlight.

We have here a schnitzel with French fries eaten. The schnitzel was a bit too greasy for us (a lot of butter / fat used).

We went here to eat a schnitzel. The meat was prepared using a lot of butter, dripping out of the food, so wasn't my favorite.

I stayed here in 2010 and 2012. Very pleasant both times. Good room size, clean, friendly staff, GREAT food, lovely atmosphere, perfect location.

Staff are really polite and helpful. My school has been coming here for 24 years now. The room facilities are great with a balcony overlooking the river and the fields. However the WiFi is very difficult to connect to and you have to keep constantly trying for 10-15 minutes to connect. One more improvement would be that some things like the cupboards are not very stable and are very old.

This is one of my favourite hotels in the Black Forest, have stayed here several times now while I’m touring Europe. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable both the double rooms and the bijou single rooms. I am planning on returning next year for my 6th time of staying here.

Great experience We had a 3 nights stay at Hotel Lamm, during our 3 weeks tour around Germany, this was honestly the best 3 nights. Room was spacious, it was very clean & the service was top. We ate in in the onsite restaurant all nights and food was good, breakfast was equally amazing.

Had a wonderful visit to Hotel Lamm. Everything in the hotel is really well executed, amazing room with lots of space and light, really nice spa facilities and pool, great food at breakfast and again at dinner. Really creative, comforting food and a diverse selection each night. Warm and friendly service throughout the hotel, I could not recommend more. Can't wait to visit again.

Would definitely go back. This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Lamm, the 2 previous times it was as a couple this time I was a solo traveller. I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised (not having stayed in a single room before) the room had a fridge that came in handy, and a view of the valley from the balcony.
