Schwarzwaldgasthof Klösterle Hof in Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach

My partner and I ended up coincidentally having lunch here twice in six months while exploring the area, and had a great time!
The Maultaschen especially were incredible, highly recommend!

Plenty of parking in front of the building or directly across the street (reserved for the hotel), friendly check-in, excellent food (breakfast, lunch and dinner - we ate there every night), spacious, pleasant and light room

This place was an unexpected gem! Warm welcome, comfortable room, and an incredible restaurant for our evening meal. The breakfast options were limited, but more than adequate. We will definitely be back!

Very good Hotel. Very good kitchen. Fantastic dinner.

Only an 1.5 hours or so from Stuttgart, GE.

We found this place in 2019 by accident.  The place we intended to have dinner, never said hello or waited on us, so we came here and the food was just fantastic. 4 years later and now that we live in Germany, we decided to go back and this time, we stayed the night.
The hotel rooms are nice and very clean with comfortable beds and the breakfast that is well done. There is a stream running right next door and you can hear it at night if you leave the window open. So nice.
There are trails all over this area and most are shaded. The Blue Diamond marked trail (marker) is on the corner of the hotel. You can figure out the trails when you get there, but don't forget to make a dinner reservation for when you are done. The food is fantastic. Pictures are attached. We will be back.

Good and oldschool german food and accommodations

The hotel is situated in the Schwarzwald mountains in a small town by a river and next to a former monestery. The rooms and interior has an old expression. The room, bed and bathroom were nice and clean. We had the lovely sound of running water from the river through our open window all night.

And the restaurant in the hotel is excellent. Traditional food with a modern touch. We tasted
Gebratende schweinemedallionen with cherry sauce - very good
Hirschragout - also very good
And wine and dessert were also perfect.

The place is run by a friendly couple - and is really worth visiting ! We will return 😊

We were in this year 2015, for the 3. Changes in the Klösterle Hof and are always delighted by the warm welcome, the excellent menu and attentive Service. Klösterle Hof is a gem in this beautiful part of the black forest, and can all be recommended only in search of rest and hikes also a culinary Highlight.

Very fine dishes for a good price. I took mushrooms raviolis with truffle as a starter then a roast pork with local mushrooms, asparagus and potatoes as main dish. I don't remember the name of the dessert. It was strawberries with a gratinated cream and a vanilla ice cream. It sounds delicious and it was. The whole meal was very good so I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Note to wine lovers : you will have a nice selection of wines. I took a local red wine (2016) which was quite a good choice.

I was here two times. The food so far is very good and would come again to try 'fish' dishes.
