The staff there were so lovely and the hotel itself is quiet and well situated (we had a car). We booked a family room with balcony which also has two toilets which is great if you have a few people. It was lovely to have the balcony to sit out on in the afternoon. There was a continental breakfast with boiled eggs in a lovely room. Had a lovely overnight stay here. Room was comfortable and the food excellent. The staff were friendly and the only tiny thing that I could complain about was the requirement to sit for breakfast where I had been seated for dinner, instead of another table where I could have enjoyed the view.

Magnificent and with a great restaurant

First time this year in the Gasthof. The location is excellent if you want to be close to the nature and in a peaceful place. There are many opportunities for hiking as well and exploring the black forest. The room we had was excellent. Clean, very cozy and with all the amenities one might need. I honestly loved being there and I would go back again!

Bang for the buck. WiFi ks terrible for video streaming, once most of the guests are connected. It is beyond my understanding why they use low speed Internet (100/100 Mbit/s) and Xioami repeaters, instead of Meraki, Cisco, Fritz!...Pillows are uncomfortable, if I would be knit picking

Friendly and professional personnel, especially Yevheniia, who helped us book an additional one-night accomodation in the hotel, in a room with balcony as we wanted, and shared with us useful information including the possibility to get travel permits for the area. The hotel is warmly decorated and has a nice feel to it. It's well designed with the pool next to the lift, and the sauna easily accessible. The pool wasn't used by many of the guests which gave me and my wife a private pool for most of our stay. Though, this may not always be the case. Overall a good hotel, however they advertise peace and relaxation with an indoor pool and sauna, but this is hardly possible as there are children all over the area and it feels like a children's playground. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you as only "children" count.

No seating area in the hotel. Dinner was very mediocre (but breakfast was nice). The ski room hardly deserves the name. Half board for the children was confirmed, but turned out not to be included. Poor location: quite far from the ski lifts, and public transport was inadequate.

Beautiful blend of traditional German hotel with very modern updates. Some how blended perfectly like still seeing the old wooden beams of the building but having a wonderful rain shower in the bathroom. Our room was so comfortable after a long day of travel had two chairs to sit in a nice bed and a place for everything. Our room was functional but not very nicely furnished and therefore didn't invite to stay. Our room was very noisy and you could hear every step above us, even at night! It's not very guest oriented that we always have to sit at the same designated table in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and are not allowed to change, even we asked several times! The owner and the family are nice and friendly. The room is clean and breakfast is variety and great. The location is not far from Titisee. It takes us 10 mins to get there. We would stay there again.

Comfortable and quiet room. Lovely breakfast in the morning, and an impressive dinner. Some of the best gnocchi I have ever had with a bright fresh herb sauce. The dessert was exceptional with fresh strawberries, basil ice cream that I wish I could take home with me, and light-as-air vanilla crème. Everyone was so kind, professional, and welcoming as well.

During our 1 week stay, we had twice dinner here and a couple of times breakfast, although we were not staying at the hotel. Very attentive, friendly staff. The rooms are clean and, in my opinion, equipped with everything you need. The breakfast offers a good selection. Bread rolls must be ordered the day before. New to Germany and this was an intentional fun trip for my teens to begin with a positive experience. Located perfectly in the Black Forest between the ski resort & waterpark / family spa. Apartment esthetically is cute - exceptionally clean - and great furniture. The attached restaurant is quaint with great food. The people were kind. The checkin was very easy. The bedroom was large and modern with a huge, comfy bed. Nice coffee machine and sufficient storage space for clothing. The bathroom was a little dated but all nice and clean. Parking directly outside. Self check in took a while, and I can imagine some people might struggle with this.

Needed to contact staff but it's not possible as I needed two more sachets of coffee! Anyway went to Lidl which was 6 mins drive. Stay was good for two nights with my family.

However, the facilities in the room are very basic - no toiletry, no drinking water, not even a kettle and a cup. It says on the hotel description that it offers breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights for a long weekend. Everything went very smoothly and the owners were extremely nice and very helpful. I even forgot an important item at the hotel and the owners were able to send it to me as quickly as possible.

One of my favourite places in the world. A stunning location with wonderful walking options all around, beautiful views, a gorgeous house with comfortable rooms and beds, a wonderful breakfast and incredibly lovely people as our hosts. The Wellness suite is also great.
