Hotel Waldeck Mit Restaurant "Florian'S" in Feldberg

Our room was excellent, however we were 4 people, and the sofa bed was of average comfort. Everything else about the room was excellent. The service in general was excellent and friendly. The proprietor, Stephanie, went above and beyond making us comfortable.
The dinner meals we had in the restaurant were interesting, tasty, very sufficient, very well presented. Again, the service was friendly and professional.
The breakfast buffet was extensive and of high quality.
I highly recommend this establishment.

Amazing family-run hotel and restaurant! We have visited the restaurant 4x in our week's stay in the area and we have a wonderful memory of the lovely and friendly lady Stephanie who looked after us (the owner) the kitchen team and lovely and unforgettable server Luiji and his helper Roberto the robot 😀 They truly care and value their customers. They are all so friendly and nothing is too much for them ....the food is outstanding! Great taste and value for money! Preferred entertainment for our 10-year-old Sofia We would definitely come back from the UK if possible to see them all again and taste some of Florian's meals again 😋 Thank you so much for the best dinning experience

We ate here as a family of 4 and loved it – delicious food including several vegetarian options, great cocktail options (alcoholic and non) and a fantastic, friendly team.

What a great stay! Such a lovely hotel, great location and such nice hosts! They really make you feel welcome and just like a part of the family.

Everything about my stay was absolutely perfect. The hotel is incredibly clean, great views, close to everything (hiking, cycling, the nearby village and towns to explore). Florian's restaurant was absolutely outstanding - Florian definitely cares about the food he cooks and it shows in presentation and taste. I can see why people come from all over just to eat here. Of course the breakfasts were outstanding as well. Coming from North America, German breakfasts are simply a different class. Suffice it to say, you won't be leaving hungry.

I have absolutely nothing bad I can say about the stay. Honestly one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I've had anywhere, in an amazing part of Germany, with impeccable German hospitality and food. I'm 100% staying here again.

During our 1 week stay, we had twice dinner here and a couple of times breakfast, although we were not staying at the hotel. The food is really good, you can see that cooking is done with passion and with a nice twist to surprise! Although we could not ski because of weather conditions, we had something to look forward! I recommend this place truly, you will love it! Please try the duck and the beef😉

The hotel have excelent food and service! Nice family running the hotel. Beautiful hiking area, good maps and signs. We stayed four nights instead of two because of really good dinner. Thank you for nice vacation!

We are making a hiking tour of the schwarzwald, and booked into the waldeck Hotel half board (halbpension). We arrived at the hotel on an unseasonally hot afternoon, (which was the reason we were hiking and not snow shoeing) and we received an equally warm welcome. We were able to chill out in the lobby with a glass of cold beer, which was lovely, and I was really happy with our room, which was comfortably furnished. The hotel is obviously well maintained with modern fittings, and a great bathroom. The shower was awesome Because we had half board, dinner was a set menu, but provided great options and the food was of an exceptional quality. It is certainly fine dining, and everything I had hoped for. Breakfast is buffet style, with plenty of variety and the hot breakfast was freshly cooked. It's the small things that make a trip memorable and Hotel Waldeck delivers by the bucket load. Warm welcomes, smiling faces, great service throughout, but especially at dinner and breakfast. This is a great little hotel, I would certainly visit again. Thank you guys for giving us a memorable stay!!
