A wonderful stay with the most beautiful views of Konstanz. Our hosts made our stay unforgettable from the friendly service, delicious breakfasts, lovely room with views and the interest of a working vineyard. It’s a very interesting and well run guesthouse and the owners work so hard to create unforgettable experiences. We will be coming back for sure.

My favorite business trip in the year is in Hagnau because of the Burgunderhof Bodensee. Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated room with mini-fridge, small table with two chairs, and space to unpack. Hotel and restaurant parking is nearby. The lake and shopping is a very short 5 walk. Don't miss dinner at the restaurant. The chateaubriand was perfection.

The perfect lodging choice for our trip! A cozy spot located a short walk to be lake, with designated parking and fantastic service. The food is amazing, it was empty for dinner because it's away from the main block of restaurants, but the wine and fresh fish was way above expectations. Definitely opt for the breakfast as part of your stay, it is a lavish spread of everything you could ask for!

Thomas, Karolina & Valentina are superb, gracious & fantastic hosts. Their hotel is wonderful, clean & comfortable plus just a few blocks to Bodensee. If you want to eat food the way it should be, especially meat, try here. They explain what they mean by "blue" etc and then produce it exactly as you request. It is aged, tender and tasty. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, and wine and liqueurs delicious. Not a cheap eat (but not stupidly expensive either) but well worth the walk up to the corner.

We treated ourselves to a week's break in mid- to late October at the hotel with the Hansjakob Week package. The rooms with a view of Lake Constance were fantastic. The beds were very comfortable, and we really liked the decor. Even in light rain, the balcony offered good protection from the elements thanks to the sloping roof. A lovely hotel in a beautiful surroundings. While the rooms are a bit dated, hotel is super clean and the service is absolutely superb!

The view of the lake and mountains were gorgeous! The breakfast was good! Jams and bread were fresh everyday.

I stopped for dinner there spontaneously and was positively surprised. Delicious food and friendly specialist staff. We'd love to come back.

In all honesty ... it was an incredibly beautiful holiday and I could go into a lot of detail now, but I'll just name keywords like: excellent view, comfortable beds, everything always clean, sufficient parking spaces and safe spaces for bicycles, extremely friendly owners as well as friendly and caring staff, who responded immediately to small requests (special requests for breakfast), chilled drinks...

I stayed here for one week in June 2020, single room. The location in Hagnau is perfect! Very close to the lake and an easy bike ride to Meeersburg, Friedrichshafen, Überlingen.... The hotel room was very comfortable and modern. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was served at the table instead of buffet (Corona), which was no problem. A wonderful stay, I´ll be back!

Perfect welcome, even it was very busy 7.30pm. We had a drink in the very spectacular garden with 2 Koi fish ponds. Food perfect, the only minus point was the top warm red wine. It would have been a nice cuvée, but far to warm served

Its a interessting cosy room, beside a baker. Good cakes.

Rooms with lake view, such a friendly stuff (it's a family business and hosts are really take care about guests), welcoming atmosphere, delicious breakfast = all above are added great experience to our Bodensee weekend. Highly recommended!

Nice rooms, great employees, awesome breakfest

Our room is very nice for 2 people but since we booked it for 4 it's a little bit too small. It's basically one room plus a bathroom with a toilet and a shower. We've got one bed for two and an expandable couch to sleep on. All in all it has been a relaxing vacation

Good location. We stayed one night, which was perfectly fine. The bathroom door offered no privacy, with large openings on the sides and incorrect installation. The bed was unfortunately uncomfortable; the mattress was very soft. Okay for short stays.

Overnight Stay Good size room, check in on line for personal details but could not pay, after a few tries went to the hotel door and the system worked fist time and delivered the key. Slept well but was woken early by the construction site to the rear of the property at about 7.30am. Nice small terrace off the room giving a partial view towards the lake, the hand rail on this could do with some repair...

We enjoyed our stay because it was a reasonable price, clean rooms, and easy check-in. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. You have to go next door for breakfast but they are friendly and serve a great breakfast. When we got to the hotel parking was easy but in the evening it can get crowded.
