Three spiders escorted outside; no wonder the cobwebs aren't removed
If you offer kettles and teacups, and the cups are supposed to last for three days, then they shouldn't be paper cups (they're not even environmentally friendly), but ceramic cups; otherwise, make sure there are enough paper cups available for three days.

Silicone on the shower damaged
Walls dirty
Mattress stained
And for that price, breakfast isn't even included
What's the point of €15/day for a dog if the room isn't even cleaned? If you provide a dog bed with fresh linens, I would understand...

The Drei König Hotel isn't 50 meters away, but 270 meters.
The photos on the website aren't accurate when it comes to our room.
The price/performance ratio is completely unjustified; it's a rip-off!

Not family-friendly
On the plus side, the location is great.
On the other hand, there are a few negative points. There are no shutters, just a curtain on one of the windows. One of the windows has neither a curtain nor shutters, so as soon as the sun rises, the children are woken by the daylight. Some photos of the hotel show a kitchen, but our room didn't have one. Perhaps in another room due to a mistake on our part when booking. Breakfast is available at a nearby hotel; it's advertised as 50 meters away, but it's actually 300 meters away. The beds aren't comfortable, and there was no air conditioning, so it was at least 29-30 degrees in the room. I don't recommend it for a family stay.

Good location. We stayed one night, which was perfectly fine. The bathroom door offered no privacy, with large openings on the sides and incorrect installation. The bed was unfortunately uncomfortable; the mattress was very soft. Okay for short stays.

Good size room, check in on line for personal details but could not pay, after a few tries went to the hotel door and the system worked fist time and delivered the key. Slept well but was woken early by the construction site to the rear of the property at about 7.30am. Nice small terrace off the room giving a partial view towards the lake, the hand rail on this could do with some repair as very wobbly. Overall a pleasant overnight stay although woken early

We enjoyed our stay because it was a reasonable price, clean rooms, and easy check-in. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. You have to go next door for breakfast but they are friendly and serve a great breakfast.
When we got to the hotel parking was easy but in the evening it can get crowded. I did find parking on the side street just past the speed camera which was fine.
Checking in was simple and checking out was also easy. We never did see any other staff on the property other than the woman taking care of the rooms.
We walked everywhere in Hagnau with no problem which was nice.

Very dirty and many broken things, like no warm water, not being aböe to lock the door, many staines in the bed. I heard everything the neighbour rooms said and did

I am well travelled, and are used to booking hotels and different properties, as I am also the owner of some in my home country. It however was the first time i tried a 24h self-checking. I can confirm that IT DOES NOT WORK. When i arrived at the property, i was not provided any details to access the room by the owner, and when using their heckin at the door I was charged again! We tried contaxting the owner and no response. I am now fighting with ******* and VISA to get reimbursed, the owner is not agreeing although was paid twice. Really disapponted in the owners, VISA and *******.
