Hotels in Bad Tolz

The place is clean, good location, and best of all, the staff. They are by far the most helpful, accommodating, and friendly staff I have ever seen in a hotel in Germany. Be it at breakfast, at the reception, etc. Special mention to the lady who was there the night of the 21st April 2023. We arrived at around 22h00 to meet my parents. The person who booked for them probably didn't inform the hotel...

Great hotel with all you need! Spacious rooms with balcony big toilet and extra bed for kids. Personnel is friendly and they help whenever you need. You get what you pay. Easy to find with parking lot. Breakfast is basic in a good way and all is fresh and home made. Dinner offer is also really good and for a good price. There is a bar and a great kids room.

A very nice hotel! The rooms are all newly renovated and clean! There is plenty of room for baggage. The staff are very friendly and helpful! There is a small safe in the room. But there are no water cookers in the rooms. The city is just a few walking minutes away! Parking is located just behind the building for 4 euros per day.

I had trouble parking near the hotel. Google maps takes me to the front of the hotel, yet the road is closed off. I was tired after a day of driving. That was inconvenient. It was not like that last year.

Cozy place, greatly located. The restaurant was very cozy, friendly personnel and with great food. Same with the breakfast. The hotel could get some renovation done but there was nothing wrong with our room.

Hotel room was right off the stairs with keys that were difficult to use. Room was clean, but water from shower would overflow onto floor. Breakfast that was provided was limited on options. The town was very nice and we loved the access to the river.

Not bad in Bad Toelz… Great location and a great place to stay when in Bad Toelz. Our room overlooking the Main Street was a plus especially when it started down pour rain.

Old rooms, curtains don't keep out the light, windows don't keep out the noise, neither do the doors. Bathroom also old with shower in tub, medium water pressure, no amenities. Sheets and towels clean, floors could use a good cleaning. Mattress firm with huge gap between beds. No minibar, no AC. Wood doors with only one click lock from inside. Church bells at 6 a.m. Limited breakfast choice, but OK...

Quite superb . Spotlessly clean . Rooms very well appointed . Sauna and swimming pool , which I didn't get to use . A very good breakfast. 10-15 minutes walk to the centre. I will return !

Everything about our 4 nights here was outstanding. Best hotel/B&B stay I have ever experienced. George, his wife and staff did everything to make our stay comfortable and fulfilling - the breakfast buffet is especially noteworthy for it's quality and selection.

We were 2 nights in this excellent hotel. Excellent and cordial service, very large and beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast. Outstanding cleanliness. Central location. Bus stop is really close. We really enjoyed our stay. I'm sure we'll come back if we're in the area.

This hotel would have been a grand experience a few years ago -- she is a little tired now but still lovely. Not realising that the hotel is in one building and reception and breakfast was in another was a bit confusing - but we had the help of some other guests to help us find it!

We used this for a transit between Milan and Munich but would stay longer on a future trip. Lovely hotel in a charming town in picturesque rural Bavaria. Would be a great base for walking in woods or mountains.

What a gem of a hotel and restaurant in Bad Tölz! Modern and clean rooms with plenty of space to stretch out. Hotel is tastefully decorated too and feels gemütlich 🤠. Restaurant was a pleasant surprise with one of the owners attending to us and offering great suggestions. Highly recommended place!

Staff there were very courteous and everybody smiled. Rooms were also nice and clean. The restaurant was a very nice surprise, I was not expecting such a good quality, once we tried we decided to have dinner in the hotel instead of roaming around searching for an eating place.

Stayed there overnight with my bicycle (May 2024). Could store my bicycle in a safe place. Nice restaurant with friendly service. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Many thanks & I definitely would come back.

I needed a room quickly and found it. The room is as described and everything is fine for me. Breakfast is nearby, it's only 200 meters away. In Tölz most of the people are nice and helpful and the same here. :-)

Very quiet location, but still within walking distance to the city center. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. Check in and check out went smoothly and uncomplicated. Thank you to the operators. We'd love to come back anytime. Clear recommendation!

Lovely, quiet villa just a mere 10 minute walk to Tölz’ city centre. Located in the town’s beautiful spa area, far away from traffic. The room is huge, all spotlessly clean and with plenty of closet space for those staying longer. Check-in happens through two codes sent to you per email or sms, the keypads work fine. We booked a 4 person room. Personal was friendly and willing to help even in our late arrival to the hotel. Breakfast was nice, don't forget to try the apple juice ?
