Beautiful hotel nestled below the mountains. Breath taking views from my balcony. My room is spacious and has everything I could possibly want. The food is excellent catering for all tastes including vegetarian. There is a nearby supermarket. Have been for a short exploration and love the German houses. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable hotel, where you feel like at home even the room equipment is a bit older. Truly amazing breakfast and so comfortable beds. Every room has balcony, mine with a nice mountain view.

I visit Lenggries every few months and this is my favorite place to eat. The restaurant serves very good traditional Bavarian food, and the service is very good. Family friendly, comfortable, and relaxed.

Bad service, ignoring customers

A beautiful hotel in a lovely town where the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food in the Restaurant was absolutely delicious and fresh. The rooms were quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower and bathroom were cleaned and polished to perfection. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I needed a room quickly and found it. The room is as described and everything is fine for me. Breakfast is nearby, it's only 200 meters away. In Tölz most of the people are nice and helpful and the same here. :-)

Great hotel with all you need! Spacious rooms with balcony big toilet and extra bed for kids. Personnel is friendly and they help whenever you need. You get what you pay. Easy to find with parking lot. Breakfast is basic in a good way and all is fresh and home made. Dinner offer is also really good and for a good price. There is a bar and a great kids room.

A very nice hotel! The rooms are all newly renovated and clean! There is plenty of room for baggage. The staff are very friendly and helpful! There is a small safe in the room. But there are no water cookers in the rooms. The city is just a few walking minutes away! Parking is located just behind the building for 4 euros per day.

I had trouble parking near the hotel. Google maps takes me to the front of the hotel, yet the road is closed off. I was tired after a day of driving. That was inconvenient. It was not like that last year.

Hotel room was right off the stairs with keys that were difficult to use. Room was clean, but water from shower would overflow onto floor. Breakfast that was provided was limited on options. The town was very nice and we loved the access to the river.

This hotel would have been a grand experience a few years ago -- she is a little tired now but still lovely. Not realising that the hotel is in one building and reception and breakfast was in another was a bit confusing - but we had the help of some other guests to help us find it!

Everything about our 4 nights here was outstanding. Best hotel/B&B stay I have ever experienced. George, his wife and staff did everything to make our stay comfortable and fulfilling - the breakfast buffet is especially noteworthy for it's quality and selection.

Absolut tip for spending some nights in the Tegernsee area. Friendly staff, stylish bathroom, tasty dinner and amazing breakfast (mostly a la carte and all included!) were only beat by the view from our room. We cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful old building with beautiful traditional interior. The room is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is large and well equipped. Excellent views of the lake, mountains and countryside. Wifi is not very good but is adequate for email and general surfing.

This place is amazing! We had reserved two rooms. One single and one junior suite. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and clean. Hotel staff called me and left my keys and the instructions for after hours check in. It was easy. Parking is on the premises, free. Breakfast in am. We would recommend it and would love to come back again.

We visited this place during a trip through Oberbayern. We got a Junior Suite with a very large room and a small kitchen. Unfortunately there was no table or desk where you could eat or work. The bath was a bit small but everything was working as expected. Furnitures and bed were ok. The staff was friendly. The breakfast served on the table (!) was good and healthy. All in all a good hotel,.

A very nice hotel, located right on Lake Tegernsee. We spent a few days there with the kids. Schnitzers Dahoam was our base for several excursions. The owners are very friendly and gave us great tips. And the "golden autumn" is simply beautiful. There were several guests with dogs. The hotel Schnitzer was already a bit old and will definitely be renovated in the near future. Room 21 is not suitable for persons over 1.80cm. Frau Schreiber was very friendly and welcoming. The unique room decorations were so sweet and delightful! The other staff, particularly the cheerful and friendly Bulgarian room maid and the breakfast waiter who kept offering prosecco were superb. We stayed for 1 week including half board in the Hotel Alpenhof. Everything was perfect, breakfast menu with a good hygiene concept was very rich and the dinner was high quality and delicious. The decor of the rooms after the renovation was modern, everything was clean, the bathrooms were new. All in all a good thing, we'll be back.

We booked an apartment 100m away from the main building. Really nice and spacious, though I was informed that NOONE would tidy up my room during the 5-day stay - that's what happens for those that rent appartments!!! Well they can’t do anything about the weather so this time we were in our Junior Suite more than usual. It is really comfortable and of course spacious. It has a great view of the lake and is the only hotel in Bad Wiessee with direct access to swimming. This is our go to quiet destination for relaxing. The restaurant ist very good and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend a stay here!!

I was there for 1 week. The hotel is right on the lake and there is also a delicious breakfast. The staff is VERY nice and the rooms are nicely decorated. Unfortunately there is only breakfast for lunch or in the evening you have to reserve somewhere else.

Beautiful traditional Bavarian hotel in a stunning lake location.

We attended my niece's wedding at the hotel's special wedding venue next to the main hotel building. The venue has indoor seating for around 70 guests on two floors, and is what is best described as typically bavarian, with wooden beams, walls and flooring. So it is a very charming venue for small weddings. The service was stellar as was the food - all locally sourced (I'm told).
