Maritim standard is always good, first room had a smoke smell but they were happy to change. Breakfast is too expensive tough, but the piano bar is a highlight.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations! The location was amazing and very nearby the city center. The hotel is very big has a nice panorama restaurant , has a pool , sauna and very clean and nice rooms. Parking is very spacious and plenty of space. Decor and interior of the hotel is amazing! I highly recommend this hotel, the best hotel in Ulm by far.

Everything was great and clean. We also liked that they try to protect the environment by giving guests the option to forgo daily room service. And in return you get some healthy treats :) We paid 36€ for parking (for two nights)

It was okay. Nth to complain abt and near enough to train station. Just that need to cross an overhead bridge and the lift wasnt working. So might be inconvenient for some

This hotel is located in the suburban area, which is slightly remote. However, the city of Ulm itself is not very large, so it is quite convenient to reach attractions like the cathedral. The hotel itself is nice, with a moderate price and excellent value for money.

Hotel and restaurant complex at the side of the motorway. Very good rooms and bathrooms, good sound insulation from the motorway. Very good restaurants and bar with large terrace. Excellent food and drink. Excellent breakfast buffet. Much high standard than many motorway hotels, always a good stop-over.

Great rooms, modern, clean, and very stylish. The hotel staff were super friendly, both at check-in and at breakfast. The hotel is in a great location, opposite the main train station. The city center starts right behind the hotel. Ulm Minster is a 10-minute walk away. I'd be happy to come back.

Great Hotel! Our room was very spacious and comfortable! The service provided was excellent and the bed was very comfy! It is in the perfect location, with the great sites and shopping of Ulm close by.

The place was very dirty, I went to take a shower and it was obvious that it hadn't been cleaned. It's right in the central part, if you come in the winter you'll be cold, the rooms, even with air conditioning, don't get hot.

A decent stay and very close to Ulm Hbf. Walking distance to many transportation options. Check in was quick and easy. Room has all basic amentities and is very comfortable.

We were on a road trip and it got too late to keep driving, so we just randomly picked a hotel in the small town. There weren't many options available. When we arrived, all the doors were locked and there was no one around to let us in. Eventually, someone cleaning the bar connected to the hotel helped us get inside. This is where you should stay in Ulm We were pleased with the size of the room, the design, comfort, and functionality. The desk staff were all incredibly helpful.

Overall, it's okay! The rooms are worn, but the furnishings are fine. However, there's no service after 8 pm! The hotel's location isn't ideal for tourists, but you can find that out beforehand. The street is noisy! But the staff is very friendly when they're there!

The hotel isn't 4 stars, I'd give it 2 stars. Its location is outside the city... and for the price it's too high.

Located on a quiet ridge past the city center of Ulm, it was challenging for a cyclist, but I was able to stay in a pleasant environment. There was space to store my bike, and the hotel breakfast was good. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay again.

This isn't the first time we've come to Goldenes Rad to stay overnight, and there's a good reason for that. This hotel is simply fantastic because of its small size, location, rooms, breakfast, staff, etc. Simply top notch.

I booked the lease expense room because I was only staying for one night. The room was very difficult to get comfortable in. It was very small and the area to set the luggage in was very difficult to use. The ceiling was slanted in several areas of the room including the shower. I would book one of their larger rooms next time.

Great quality hotel with a generous breakfast buffet and exceptionally friendly staff. Perfect stopover from Belgium to the Alps for me and my family. They went above and beyond when I forgot my pajama, proactively contacting me and even offering coffee on my return passage, which I couldn’t pay for. Truly a rare, warm human touch!

Location is good. You can reach the old city of Ulm by 20 minutes walk. The staff is nice , kind and polite. Size of bathrooms is not appropriate, some bathrooms are small. Rooms are generally clean and have enough facilities to live comfortably. Prices are somehow not so high nor too low. In total, if you are looking for a room just besides ulm city, this could be the choice.

Stopped here randomly to get some sleep on a trip across Europe and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were large and provide everything you need for a stay. The breakfast was also cozy and fresh and felt like eating at grandma’s. Plus: they allow dogs. Minus: the room smelled a bit like smoke.

Recommendation Nice room, nice beds, nice breakfast, parking in garage on site, really beautiful city. We had a room facing the road which meant a lot of noise during the night, but all in all a really nice stay for the price.
