The hostel offers a nice, clean room with more than just a basic set of amenities. For the price you pay, this hostel goes beyond the requirements that most other places barely fulfill.

We came to Nuremberg to celebrate the New Year spontaneously. We ordered the New Year eve dinner, which was very good. Staff was firendly and willing to help. We spent 3 nights in this hotel. The only bit dissapointing thing was teh SPA area. It's really small, we could'nt find a lunger both time we went there. We was no changing rooms, so it's a bit uncomfortable.

The service overall was decent, but they only provided 1 water bottle for our room for 3 nights. There also wasn't anywhere we could find to refill our reusable bottles with filtered and cold water. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. The room was nice and spacious and allowed us to spread out our luggage to get better situated while traveling abroad.

Requires quite a bit of walking from the train station to get there, but the room is well equipped with washer and kitchen. Great place to stay!

About 1 block outside the Old Town walls. Cafe nearby is rated number one. Huge breakfast. Bad thing, everything closed on Sunday so stock up on waters and snacks.

Old Town across the street by a block. Easy access to the Christmas Kindlmarket in Nurnberg. Room is slightly small and for the price paid $575 USD, they could have had a couple free waters in room. The buffet is small and not worth 17 euros (over $20 USD) each person for each morning. It’s just continental.

Not up to Motel One standards. Most concerningly my room (141) was situated next to a fire escape to a car park and I was disturbed one night by three guys sitting on the steps of the fire escape talking and drinking. I doubt very much they were guests (if you were a guest would you spend your time on the fire escape?) so it begs the question how they managed so easily to get into the hotel from outside...

Very good value for money hotel. Clean, near the Center, with a decent breakfast and friendly staff. The rooms are kinda small and the cleaning ladies bothered us a lot even after putting the sign on our door.

The hotel is beautiful, and the front desk staff are very helpful. It's close to the Hauptbahof and the Flix bus stop. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The lobby is gorgeous! It's also close to attractions.

Good location and comfort for the price! This hotel is located just a short walk to the train station and old city. The central location for the price makes this hotel well worth a booking. As others have said, the rooms are smaller and there are not too many amenities, but then if you are in Nuremburg to visit, you are likely in the room/hotel for only a few hours more than sleeping. Always a pleasure. Consistent, Great breakfast, comfortable beds. Small rooms, but well appointed for short stay. Recently stayed at Motel One in Berlin, Nürnberg, Stuttgart and Munich on the same trip and the breakfast was a highlight, as well as the ease of access and locations. It's now my goto for Germany.

The room is clean but really small, no space for luggage at all. Breakfast is good. For short stays it's good.

It’s perfectly fine if you’re looking for a place near the train station.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The bathroom had a wierd door that closed both the toilet space and the shower space, so I wouldn't recommend for a couple/family book such room. I felt very safe, the door opens and closes up using a key code. There is a nice breakfast offer and the service is kind. I am not the biggest fan of the location, Präller is full of wierd people.

Location was great - a tram station was right in front of the hotel, the city centre is within walking distance (or one tram stop away). Great Egyptian restaurant round the corner and a supermarket not far away. Room was comfortable, with the option to turn on and adjust the air conditioning. Overall fantastic stay. I found the bed a little too soft for my liking, but nothing serious. The carpet was a little bit dirty, but the bathroom looked spotless. Can't get over the amazing breakfast, they had a really wide selection!

Because it's an old building, you will not find so much comfort. But the location it's the highlight of the place.

Stayed here two nights and the location is brilliant, a short walk to anywhere in the old town. Access to the hotel is through a shoe shop which closes at 8 but you get an electric key fob to enter the hotel. My single room was very small, modest but was what I expected for the price I paid. However the room did get extremely hot with no air conditioning. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Melter was the best place I stayed in throughout my Germany trip. It was in the centre of the old town, right above the Lorenzkirche U-bahn, 3-5 mins walk from the Hauptbahnof, and only steps away from everything you might need - bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and all the highlights. The hotel overall is good, and the transportation is quite convenient. The staff's service is also very good. A unique feature is that you don't need to check out. The only downside is that hot water isn't provided.

The hotel is very close to the main station and has the basic needs. The bed were comfortable and everything was clean. It is a bit of a walk to the town center but that’s not a problem for us.

Room is small but clean and comfortable. There is no kettle, so need to ask for hot water from the staff at desk counter. All hotel staff were friendly and approachable. Really appreciate that they work on Christmas Day. Overall , definitely recommend to stay this hotel when you visit Nürnberg.

Convenient location, close to flixbus stop, hpf and town centre. Luggages can be stored before check-in, free of charge but the area is unlocked. No check-out process is needed because they use password code instead of card key.

This charming hotel is right in the center of the action. An easy walk to the Christmas market! It is a little walk from the Subway but manageable and charming. Just we aware you will be rolling your suitcase over cobblestone. I would definitely stay here again! Be sure to get the house hot wine which comes with a fresh gingerbread cookie!

The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was also very clean. The hotel was clean and staff was great so I bumped it to 4 stars, but the beds are hard and the rooms are awkwardly shaped and some aspects tiny. Each room is set up differently but the shower in our room was tiny and it was impossible not to flood the bathroom. And very slippery floor.

Checking in at 4 pm and out by 10 am in the winter months when it is dark early is a challenge it would be nice to make it 3pm and 11 am. Also internet was slow and the shops were nit as close as it was implied the write up.

The property was nice but they don't tell you what room assignment you have until the day of. I was on the third floor with a pitched roof and it was hot tmduring my stay. There is no air conditioning and the hosts do not provide fans. The heat plus the pitched roof made out stay uncomfortable.

Self-catering accommodations aren't ideal for first-timers, and the cleanliness of the rooms needs improvement in Chengdu.

Very clean, quiet and spacious room. I was a bit anxious with using the opening the door smart system but it did work well. It would be still great to have a spare key just in case phone is not working though.

I never had the chance to try the breakfast so no comments on that. Best about the place that it was clean, check-in was easy, though the reception was unmanned when I arrived in the afternoon. Close to supermarket and restaurants (less than 5min on foot) Fridge in the room, only thing I miss is a water kettle. Perfect stay, would stay again. Unbeatble price so I cant ask for everything.

Great location on the edge of the Old Town. And so easy to get to from the airport! It has really good transport links and a very quick walk into the old town. The room itself was clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

I had problem with check in at the automat. I had to call 3 times and finally the problem was solved. The apartament is quite loud overlookongbon the street and very simple.

Conveniently located near the train station, a large grocery store with a food court, and the historic center. There's a microwave, stovetop, basic kitchenware, and a coffee machine. Clean bathroom. Suggestions: more coffee capsules for the coffee machine and toilet paper if guests are staying longer than 24 hours.

Great location just outside old city wall. Excellent location for trains, trams and buses. Was rather noisy as needed to sleep with windows open as no fan or aircon and it was hot. Bed was small double but was comfortable. Access was easy with a code for initial entry and it was easy to follow the door card making directions.

What a cute little hotel. The rooms are super nice and have everything you need. Only downfall is no elevator and if your suitcase is heavy you have to carry it up. They do offer to help at reception. The location is amazing though and you are bang slap in the centre beside the main shopping streets, restaurants and the old part of town.

We loved our stay at Design Hotel Vosteen! The hotel has a unique charm with beautiful retro-inspired decor, and everything was spotless.
