Honestly not bad at all. Reception staff was very friendly. Cleanliness can be Improved. You get what you paid for. I stayed for an urgent need of staying a night. I booked online through hotel application, and arrived an hour later. The process was smooth. I prefer to stay here as the area is more reasonable than Reeperbahn area.

Good location, rooms smelt like milk and carpets were stained, kitchen was well equipped

I highly recommend avoiding this place. I booked a stay for one night, and upon arrival, I was told at the reception that they had overbooked and there was no room for me, despite it being paid for in advance. They have no clue about their bookings and it’s a total trap. Don't do this to yourselves and do not book a stay at this hotel.

I stayed for 9 nights, very good location, but the waiters stole 6 deodorants and a roll of filters with a coffee filter holder that I forgot on a nightstand. I went back the next day and the receptionist told us there was nothing, but when I insisted on being shown the lost and found room, I found 2 of the deodorants and they were clearly mine since I come from Chile and they had text in Spanish and a Chilean address of manufacture, not a German one. The receptionist claimed it was the guest’s responsibility, which is not true, since all hotels have a “lost and found” where items forgotten by guests should be kept.
Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel and I would not return due to this act of insecurity.

Highly recommended. It's a great place with excellent facilities, and there's a self-service coffee and snacks downstairs. The front desk service is excellent—warm and attentive. Thumbs up! 👍

Rooms were acceptable. The windows and humidity in this room was shit. The rooms clearly are not soundproof even when the person inside the room speaks calmly.
There is a room cleaning service that provides daily new towels and that cleans the room.
There is also equipment like a pan, fork, knife, spoon and cleaning stuff. Locationwise is it perfect because it's only a 3 min walk to the next metro station that takes you to the main station in another 5 min.
Would only recommend if you are really trying to stay in Hamburg on budget cause otherwise you can surely find something equivalent better.

Very quiet location near the Alster swimming pool.
Parking is unfortunately a problem; only residents are allowed to park for longer than 3 hours.

Not recommended!
The room was very shabby and smelled musty. Electrical outlets weren't working or were exposed. Some of the windows were hanging off or wouldn't open at all. The heating in the bathroom was actually off, but it was still blaring hot. The carpet was peeling off in places. There was mold in several corners of the bathroom.

I don’t like the property and very dirty
30.08.2024
Now I understand why the hotel has such low ratings. The room was terrible. The dirty room was disgusting and I just wanted to book another hotel. The location is scary - it will be just scary to come back in the evening with children or a couple. The hotel looks like an ordinary entrance to a house, the smell of rotten meat in the room and traces of unknown origin all over the floor. The room is NOT LIKE in the pictures. There was no hot water in the bathroom, and the cold water periodically disappeared. There was no light in the bathroom. There was a small kitchen, but absolutely no dishes. Was I supposed to bring the dishes with me? There were traces of the bedbugs' real or past life under the mattress, there was a party under the windows and it was impossible to fall asleep. The staff absolutely does not understand where it is, the person at the reception did not know where my room was. It was obvious that he was working for the first day and apparently illegally. I ask you to think many times before booking this hotel!
