Pleasant stay at a historic hotel in Bad Nauheim. Everything was great except for one big fail by the staff: I had an early Saturday morning train to catch to get to the Frankfurt airport. When I asked at reception Friday evening to reserve me a taxi for the transfer to the BN train station, I was told I only needed to come to reception in the morning and it would take 5 minutes to have one come to...

Breakfast is ok not super but ok Restaurant service is not so efficient I had to wait more of 40 min for one unique meal and the weiter gave me some bread only after half an hour I was waiting … they are not so polite with foreign people and this is a pity since the hotel itself is quite comfortable with nice atmosphere

Unfortunately, the best hotel in that area. That does not mean it’s good, I actually do not enjoy staying there. Needs an upgrade for sure and staff could be friendlier as well.

Room no 254 needs a little TLC. New paint and a new shower handle ( it is no possible to use the shower without making the floor of the bathroom very wet) Beside these two complaints all was good. Will come again.

Great and peaceful location close to the park and small shops. The hotel restaurant is also good. Unfortunately the hotel is very dated and cleaning is not highest on the agenda. Our suite had dried urine and potentially more under the toilet. We were offered another room but no compensation.

Got to go to a 70th birthday here, it was just fantastic. Huge conference area. Fantastic spa & pool area, only one other using the pool while we were there, altho spa area doesn't open till 1000. The room, as well as the bathroom, was spacious and quiet. We were pleasantly surprised when we found out the hotel had an elevator. My room was large and airy, with a high ceiling, and the walls were painted white, fostering a wonderful spacious feeling. We visit Bad Nauheim 4-5 times a year and discovered this fantastic hotel a year ago. The hotel is very special and is lovingly run. The location is central and everything is within walking distance. The breakfast is very good with fresh and delicious ingredients. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the Hotel Spöttel.

Property was nice it was furnished well and had good location. My room didn’t have air-conditioning so it was extremely stuffy and I had issues sleeping. There was a fan provided but it wasn’t the quietest. Bed was comfy though. Although slightly confused I got a single duvet for a double bed.
