Beds are a bit low. Walking distance to everything

Grandhotel Esplanade in Bad Nenndorf impresses with its excellent accommodations for guests with mobility needs. As an electric wheelchair user, I found the room to be perfect, with outstanding shower and bathroom facilities that cater to my needs. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. If you’re looking for a blend of luxury and accessibility, this hotel is a fantastic choice!

Nice rustic hotel with a quiet location, good for business trips as well as leisure or maybe for both at same time :) The service was very kind and professional. I also appreciate the delicious breakfast which was served in my room due to pandemic issues in winter 20/21 (I just missed fried eggs). Not far from the hotel you will find many free parking lots which usually are free of charge. The interiors and rooms are wheelchair accessible. My recommendation: if you want something atypical, go for it! If you just want a fancy big-city-like hotel, well, that's the wrong place for you. Please also consider the location for the interesting tourist attractions.

The room comfort is actually just three stars: the bathrooms offer just very basic comfort, the beds are also not really the standard I'd like to sleep every night in, and the curtains are much too light. But the location is very quiet and the house is beautiful. The fourth star is for the very friendly staff and the nice atmosphere. The WiFi connection is easy and fast enough, the food is excellent and you also have a great and free coffee maker in the lobby. There are some nice extras like a free table kicker and chess board available. The very best is the hotel cat waiting to be petted on the stairs.

Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. A slightly shabby chic old town spa hotel and all the better for it. Great food and good service in a fantastic location. So much better then the generic chain hotels.
