Where to stay in Bad Sachsa

I have never said this about a hotel stay before, and we have been on five continents. "PERFECTION", yes, really, in every aspect of our stay. You name the category, and it was all beyond our very high expectations at a very reasonable price for how we stayed in a suite package. The fire alarm rang for no reason during the late evening. Out of 3 saunas, 2 were out of order and the last one understandably a bit crowded. Breakfast buffet was however really good.

Have just spent 4 incredible nights here. Our room had a panoramic view of the frozen lake and snowy hills. The spa is one of the best I have visited, ever. Spacious, plenty of rooms and therapies (with no added extras for almost all) and even the sauna area had over 10 different rooms to use. Note the sauna area is ‘textile free’ and nudity is the norm but if you are conservative you can use a towel...

The rooms are OK with view on the water, large balcony The restaurant should be improved, plates quite bad, returned most. The “chef” told us he would do something but didn’t heard anything later on. Can hardly recommend.

Owner managed hotel. We enjoyed 3 days here. Flawless, great service and food.

A wonderfully friendly owner made our stay a truly delightful experience. The breakfast and dinner buffets left nothing to be desired. The quality and variety were absolutely top-notch. A particular highlight was the New Year's Day cake buffet. The spa area is beautifully furnished, perfectly in keeping with the cozy hotel. A heartfelt thank you to the lovely Mrs. Müller!

A unique place, delicious food and very nice service, I recommend it.

Despite the company downtime, the boss cooked for craftsmen and caretakers. It's always nice to work there. Thanks to the family.

Very nice room and a very large selection of delicious dishes. The staff is friendly and courteous. The price / performance ratio is okay. There are some free parking spaces at the hotel. I would love to come back.

Enjoyed our recent stay here. Rooms and food first class. Has a small swimming pool with other spa facilities, all immaculate. The owners couldn’t do enough to make us feel special. Highly recommend!

Great hotel Geat small hotel, not far from.the motorway. Owners speak english and breakfast is delicious.

We had a lovely three nights stay. Some of the rooms have been more renovated than the others but all just as comfortable. Shower had very warm water and the heaters warmed up to room super well! The breakfast was very enjoyable with many sorts of cheeses and meats. They make you eggs in the way you prefer them. They don’t have very many parking spots but you can park on the nearby streets if needed

Unfortunately only five stars can be given. We were very happy with everything during our stay. Martina and Edwin Derks look after their hotel guests in an exemplary manner and you can really enjoy your vacation. This hotel is highly recommended!,

+ Beautiful holiday home with all facilities, friendly staff at the main reception. + Excellent swimming pool for kids and adults + Many good hiking places nearby - A bitter experience at the reception of the swimming pool for kids who couldn’t explain their problem in German but only in Dutch and English. Who shouts on kids… They remember this as holiday ruining experience, unfortunately.

We had a great time in Landal Salztal Paradies. The house was nice, warm and well equipped. Very recommended!

Really calm and close to nature, swimming pool is awesome!

Good place, perfect water temperature.

Positive surprised by the bungalows and Salztal freizeits anlage. Only 25-30 minutes to wurmberg ski destination, which is very much like many Swedish destinations.

The staff was very friendly and accommodated to our requests for bringing along a dog. Everything was clean and the hotel is very close to the park.
