We spent three nights in the family room last weekend. Our oldest son loved it; it had a bunk bed and a playroom. So, they thought of our little one too.
The people were incredibly sweet and hospitable, highly recommended.
We'll definitely be back!

I stayed at this hotel/guesthouse for two weeks with my three children and dog. It was recently taken over by a Dutch couple who are doing a great job sprucing things up. There was a nice, wide selection at breakfast, and we had a lovely large family room for five people (double bed, bunk bed, and cot). The children had a great time in the play area. The grounds are wonderful for walking the dog. There are also two playgrounds, a mini-golf course, and the town center within walking distance. It is clear to see that the new owners are working hard to give their hotel a refresh. We will definitely be going back for two weeks next year during the summer holidays.

A good, and already nice, hotel here in Bad Sachsa, good prices for everyone, friendly staff, easy access directly to the center, good quality, quiet and surrounded by nature, everything wonderful, rooms. Good luck!

The warm welcome was a promising start, and it lived up to expectations. Throughout our stay, Christel and Harm were always available and helpful. The accommodation itself left nothing to be desired: clean, small rooms with private bathrooms, TVs, and more. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with unlimited coffee. We were there as bikers and can highly recommend this hotel. It would certainly be a good choice for families as well.

The staff was very friendly and accommodated to our requests for bringing along a dog. Everything was clean and the hotel is very close to the park.

We are four motorcyclists of a certain age, gradually exploring the German low mountain ranges. This time, we chose the Harz Mountains. We opted for "Gelpkes Mühle" as our base, a good choice indeed, a very good one, as it turned out.

We received a very warm welcome, and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

The rooms are functionally furnished and very clean.

The breakfast is plentiful and leaves nothing to be desired.

In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious beer under the covered patio. If none of the hosts happen to be there, a quick ring of the bell, and they'll bring you more.

Our motorcycles were parked safely and securely in the enclosed courtyard.

In short: what more could you want? Everything was perfect.
