Hotel Westermann in Osnabruck

The hotel is on a main road. You can't hear anything in the room if the window is closed (in winter) - but we come from a big city. The hotel has a large, free car park. The rooms are very large and reasonably furnished. A renovation would be nice, however. The bed is a large double bed and very comfortable. Our bathroom was small, our friends' was large and also had a window. But it was fine. The towels here urgently need replacing as they were grey from washing and quite frayed. What was annoying was the thin walls in the room (the shower from the floor above was very loud). The door closes poorly (due to an automatic closer - that's a bit annoying) - the breakfast room is very large, beautiful, bright and modern. The breakfast is excellent! A large selection of rolls (of good quality), bread, margarine, butter, jam, honey, sausage, cheese, eggs, scrambled eggs, juice, quark and yoghurt, fruit salad, etc. Coffee specialties are also available at no extra charge. You can walk into town in 20 minutes - alternatively: by bus. The good, varied breakfast, the free parking and the good beds make up for the small shortcomings. We would be happy to come back.

Decent hotel. Rooms clean, spacious, and everything works. Some road noise even with the windows closed. The rooms facing the car park rather than the roads are probably quieter. Plenty of car parking. Close to centre of town. Good breakfast.

No need to spend more money elsewhere!clean&comortable AND down the street is a laundromat. ...hard to find in Germany!!

Wonderful hotel run by family for century and more. Clean, bug rooms and comfortable stay.

Stayed for a week and all was good. One con tho - Internet connection is not the fastest and can be tricky if you need to work thru VPN. If someone needs good internet connection to work with - go somewhere else. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay

Nice and clean. Hotel room spacious and clean. Good bathroom with a standing shower. No kettle or bottles of water. Only fizzy drinks in a fridge, which they charge €1.50 per bottle. Really good choice for breakfast. Big dinning area. Free guest car park. The only let down was the reception staff who weren't very nice nor helpful.
