Very nice and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, for a hotel with this many rooms the dining room is too small, making dinner and breakfast buffets very chaotic and not very relaxing. However, food is excellent. No a la carte service.

Vi har ikke været i wellness afdelingen, da stedet har en god beliggenhed i forhold til Lyneburg Hede og vor interesse for traveture i naturen. Her et unikt hedeområde.
Lækker mad i buffeten
Eneste ulempe er spisetiderne til morgenmad

Hotel is nice in a quiet village surrounded by woods. Their is few people who speak English but I think it adds to the charm and enjoy the fun experience. My last visit was with my wife if a better room but this time the room was very small and no air con and it was very hot in the night. I still like the hotel but wasn't the best experience this time

Hello dear Schnuck Team, We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a great stay at your hotel. Great room, great sauna, very friendly and polite staff. The icing on the cake was the table (breakfast) set up for my wife's birthday in agreement with the staff. Anyone who has anything to complain about here is just looking for the proverbial fly in the ointment. Be sure to bring your bikes to the big wilderness. Overall 1+ with a *. We will be back.

Been here 5 days or still will be until next Tuesday... no star deductions, everything was great, great sauna, great breakfast, parking, very nice staff, be it at the reception, in service or with the cleaning lady.... nothing to complain about at all, even if you have to look for it... we travel often in Germany, so we can make good comparisons. Great hotel.. Simply. Keep it up!

Great hotel with friendly staff and modern rooms. The hotel bar is cozy and invites you to spend a nice evening. Some of the rooms on the ground floor have small terraces in front of the window. The buffet is, as you would expect from other hotels, hearty and plentiful. I was here with my family and would come back anytime.

We went to Schneverdingen on the occasion of my wife's birthday, 25th September 2024. We travelled from Hamburg on a whim, unplanned, and with no reservations. For some stupid reason, we were under the impression that a tourist spot like the Heide would always have hotels where we could check in. To our horror, as we reached towards the evening, hotel after hotel turned us away and we were stuck in the cold with a child wondering if we should head back to Hamburg. At this moment, someone suggested we contact Landhotel Schnuck, and thankfully, the lady at the reception who received our call not only spoke good English, but also was patient, polite, and offered us a room after taking some time to check her system. We reached there pretty late in the night, and after we checked in, we felt rescued and relieved.
The next day we took a long walk around the Heide from the hotel, and we also were able to book cabs and other kind of tourist experiences from the hotel. We also ate at the hotel and we found the overall experience excellent. I only hope that they receive more and more guests and build a more successful business.

Only a short visit, but for sure a very pleasant one. Nice food and very friendly staff. The breakfast is outstanding!
I will definately like to come back sometime.

Lovely stay, room is a bit basic but everything else we loved. Not all staff speak English but we still loved it and had some good laughs trying to communicate. Food and beers were fantastic, would stay again
