Breakfast was perfect! A great selection, you have your own assigned table, and it was simply delicious and reasonably priced!
Now, unfortunately, for the room...
You can't give negative stars, can you? We were in room 114. The bathroom is a complete disaster: mold in the shower, the toilet seat has brown stains, the fan is so loud (because it's completely filthy), and at night it wakes up half the floor. The shower is tiny, and the faucet is positioned in such a way that you accidentally adjust it with your body. There's no space in the bathroom to put your things.
The chairs in the room are worn out and need replacing.
The bed creaks with every little movement (even with my daughter, who weighs 20 kg)!
Only one power outlet in the room by the door (charged one phone) and one in the bathroom (charged a bicycle battery). It's best to pack a power strip and long charging cables.
Blackout curtains aren't really possible. The curtains are more decorative (modern from 30 years ago).
We didn't use the communal kitchen, spa facilities, or sauna, but they all looked very nice.
The ponies are fantastic, super sweet, and well-cared for. The children had a lot of fun riding them, grooming them, and more.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are comfortable and furnished with everything they need.
A plus is the sauna, where the adults can relax while the children play on the large playground or in the Friesian hall.
We are thrilled and will be back soon :)
Some of the equipment on the playground is showing its age and nails are sticking out between the wooden structures.
The apartments are partly renovated (new kitchen) but also very dated, especially in the bathroom area. In addition, our bathroom smelled extremely of stale urine, which for us indicated inadequate cleaning.
The reception at the front desk was very warm. Unfortunately not all employees on the farm have this warmth / friendliness. Sometimes these passed you without any reaction to a "good morning" or "hello".
All in all, the holiday in Wangerland is very relaxing and there are enough places available for day trips.
The accommodation costs are unfortunately not appropriate for the predominant apartments.
