Hotel Zur Seemöwe in Insel Poel

Nice quiet hotel. We had a very pleasant stay

We went there in the early afternoon for coffee and cake. We were the only guests. The selection of cakes was great, many cakes were made using rice pudding. As a result, the piece of cake - generously measured by the way - was al dente and really tasty. These cakes with rice pudding are highly recommended. The staff was really nice.

We warn for the first time on the island of Poel!
After an extremely friendly welcome from the innkeeper, who is also the owner, we quickly got our room, which was furnished in a very modern way. (Unfortunately, ordering via a booking portal was not quite as easy as expected! Since we wanted to take our little four-legged friend with us, there was a long back and forth as to whether this would be possible). The owner regretted the fact, but he himself did not have a lot of options on these portals. But everything was arranged by him to our complete satisfaction.
In a quiet moment, we were then given a small tour of various other apartments (the hotel consists of several houses) where dogs can also be brought.
The breakfast was plentiful and good!
The entire staff very friendly!
All in all, we would happily return here if our paths should lead us to the island again!

We have stayed here twice (summer and fall 2022) and it has been excellent each time. The team was always very friendly and designed our stay to our complete satisfaction. Highly Recommended!

Accommodation very well maintained, friendly staff, breakfast plentiful with regional products. Sufficient parking spaces are available. There is shelter for bicycles. We'd love to come back.

This was our first time at this hotel and we loved it. Upon arrival, we were greeted personally by the hotel owner and given our keys. The room was spacious and had a nice interior design. We especially liked the breakfast the next morning, which was delicious and varied.
