Binz 2019 A lovely destination with lots to see around or just to lie on the fantastic beach. We usually try to stay at the Arkona Strandhotel as it fulfills our wishes and is right on the beach, in addition it is walking distance to most things

The hotel's charm has diminished. As a regular guest, we were given a room with a view of the spa roof; we had booked a room with a garden view. There was no regular discount, nor was there any explanation. The service in the rooms has declined. On two days, the beds weren't made, but there was a card on the bed. Very nice and quiet hotel in the middle of the town. We were there with our 2 kids and we were one of a few families. Mostly elderly people so we had most of the pool and spa for us self.

A very good hotel, but the point deduction is due to the inconsistent handling of smoking on the breakfast terrace and balconies. Receptionists should know about the best local hiking trail from Sassnitz to Königstuhl, but instead they said “You cannot hike there”. We did in fact hike 8km that day. Not very helpful staff in this regard.

I travel a lot and spend around 150 days in hotels around the world. I expected more from a 5-star hotel. Positive: the location right on the beach, perfect breakfast, first-class staff. We really appreciated the variety of pools and saunas offered, especially at such a relatively reasonable price. Having a kitchenette was also a big plus for us. (It would have been perfect if a cutting board and a cooking knife had been available, too!) For travelers without a car, the ride to Binz train station was extremely helpful and much appreciated. The staff was very friendly. Our apartment was very spacious. It is a bit out of the way. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the pier. The prices for breakfast and dinner are too high in my opinion.

Visited their spa / therme (we did not stay over night) and it was amazing. They have 3 pools, two with salt water and one with mineral water. Hot sauna too. The entrance to the spa is 36 euro per day but it has a cheaper price of 18 euros in the morning until 13.30. Can't be booked online but at the spa reception only.

Walking street near the beach

Perfect location We had a small but tastefully decorated room with a small balcony towards west with beautiful evening sun. The only thing we were missing was air-condition. The air in the room stod absolutely still. Even with the balcony door wide open we didn't manage to get some air circulation. A big plus for the breakfast and the spa with the infinity pool.

I travel extensively internationally. This was one of THE best equipped rooms and facilities I have experienced anywhere. The location is excellent for walking,shopping and the beach. The rooms were super-well equipped and the staff very helpful. We loved the infinity pool overlooking the beach!

Nice hotel but could improve Nice newer hotel, too pricey for what they offer. Clean room and facility but little things are missing to say its the perfect hotel/stay. For example room service only every second day, staff promissed on previous phone calls to separate the beds in the room, which I found out after arrival that it wasn't possible with the room they gave us. We loved our stay at Aja Hotel Warnemünde. The area is filled with fun oceanside stands, is very walkable, and close to the Strom harbor area. There are many bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, had a nice view of the ocean and we loved the free breakfast buffet and cake and coffee in the afternoon. Great pool and spa area! Highly recommend.

This is a very nice and convenient hotel located directly at the beach. It’s great for runners (nearby woods and trails), tanners, and of course swimmers. There’s even a nudist beach nearby. The rooms are very modern though the could have more hangers for bath robes and towels. In the suites they have shower and a bath tub, however, It would be even more convenient to have a second toilet instead....

A high quality hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very new and clean. Also great if you are also going to the Waterpark as you have an exclusive entryway. The breakfast is also one of the best in Germany.

Comfort, fun, quality of food recording to price where super! We had a very nice stay with our little girl of 9 months. The only thing I can think of that we found odd was the difference in wine glasses since we where drinking the same wine.

I really enjoyed the experience, especially the pools and different water activities. The room was always very clean and organized. I recommend this hotel, it’s next to the Hochschule Wismar, which is an advantage if you are studying or teaching there for a few days. Thanks.

Had a really nice stay on this beachfront hotel during easter. Location is very good. We stayed in a family studio. It was spacoius and fresh. Breakfast was good. Spa area with a variety of saunas was clean and well maintained and so was the outside pool.

Had a very comfortable stay here at the grand. The buffet breakfast was up with the best we have had around the world. Excellent apartment for a family vacation that had everything. Garage under the house for both cars and bikes that was very convenient. With water on both sides of the house. The only drawback was that we hade an apartment towards the road so we heard the cars if we had open windows.

We had a short vacation and the rooms and pool were clean, the staff was polite. In terms of price, they charge 25 euros for a dog and 10 euros for parking. I have never found it ethical to charge these fees without informing them anywhere before. I find parking fees unnecessary in such a quality establishment. After a blustery September walk along the beach with our dog, we enjoyed a good cocktail on the terrace, served by a very nice and professional bartender. Bar looked very smart and cosy. The large patio must be a lovely place for a sundowner in summer.
