Location is great and thats about it. Huge building from socialistic times full with pensioners. Service is hit or miss - some personell friendly and some are just grumpy. Loved the included breakfast buffets, the view from the balcony of the room, the service (incl. the refill for the coffee machine in the room). I used the indoor pool daily. The view and the indoor pool were my main reasons to pick this hotel. Hotel provides a shuttle service to/from the train station. There are no taxis at the station and walking would be far too far.

Room is clean. Too bad there’s no complimentary bottled water in the room. Maybe because they provide free refreshment at the lobby (bottled water, chocolate, fruit (banana/apple). It’s available after lunch. The location is also very convenient.

Great hotel Great location near the ocean and many restaurants. Modern and very well maintained. Parking is convenient with ramp parking under the hotel. Only complaint is that the air conditioning does not get very cold but this is fairly normal in Europe.

We really appreciated the variety of pools and saunas offered, especially at such a relatively reasonable price. Having a kitchenette was also a big plus for us. (It would have been perfect if a cutting board and a cooking knife had been available, too!) For travelers without a car, the ride to Binz train station was extremely helpful and much appreciated. The staff was very friendly. Our apartment was very spacious. It is a bit out of the way. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the pier. The prices for breakfast and dinner are too high in my opinion.

Visited their spa / therme (we did not stay over night) and it was amazing. They have 3 pools, two with salt water and one with mineral water. Hot sauna too. The entrance to the spa is 36 euro per day but it has a cheaper price of 18 euros in the morning until 13.30. Can't be booked online but at the spa reception only.

We loved our stay at Aja Hotel Warnemünde. The area is filled with fun oceanside stands, is very walkable, and close to the Strom harbor area. There are many bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, had a nice view of the ocean and we loved the free breakfast buffet and cake and coffee in the afternoon. Great pool and spa area! Highly recommend.

This is a very nice and convenient hotel located directly at the beach. It’s great for runners (nearby woods and trails), tanners, and of course swimmers. There’s even a nudist beach nearby. The rooms are very modern though the could have more hangers for bath robes and towels. In the suites they have shower and a bath tub, however, It would be even more convenient to have a second toilet instead....

Great countryside hotel! Staff was very helpful and friendly.We had half-board, the food was always fresh and delicious, although drinks are not included during the dinner, prices are reasonable. Great place for families. Great/perfect room and breakfast plus super facilities for kids. I would have rated it five stars, but bad maintenance of the swimming area and no soap dispensers there really lowers the score.

Had a really nice stay on this beachfront hotel during easter. Location is very good. We stayed in a family studio. It was spacoius and fresh. Breakfast was good. Spa area with a variety of saunas was clean and well maintained and so was the outside pool.

Very nice hotel from the grounds to the pool to the very good breakfast. Also the room is nice, although there was a damp smell in the bathroom all the time. The bummer - and not acceptable for a 5 star hotel - is the room cleaning: Randomly replaced towels but the worst: the bedsheets have NOT been replaced once during the 4 night stay! Something not acceptable at all let alone in a 5 star hotel!...

Beautiful house, friendly staff, great pillow menu and the rest is also good, which is to be expected for the price. We felt very comfortable here, would gladly come back. The breakfast is amazing, it is more like a brunch (time until 11:30)

Had a very comfortable stay here at the grand. The buffet breakfast was up with the best we have had around the world. Omelettes made to order, multiple freshly made juices, heaps of hot and cold choices. Also had a great club sandwich at the bar the evening before. Located right next to the beach, i am sure this place rocks during the summer.

After a blustery September walk along the beach with our dog, we enjoyed a good cocktail on the terrace, served by a very nice and professional bartender. Bar looked very smart and cosy. The large patio must be a lovely place for a sundowner in summer.

We had a really fabulous dinner in the gourmet restaurant on the 4th floor, dramatic sunset view included. The menu was excellent, creative cooking accompanied by very good wines. The service was perfect and very friendly. Highly recommended place for a holiday highlight and well worth the price.

Stay at lagunenstadt It was ok.

Very quiet and relaxing place. Beautiful nature surrounding the marina. The beach is only a 5min walk away. Beautiful white sand beach. If you follow the walkway to the city you will see lots of different animals: gray herons, swans, ducks, deer and a variety of different local birds. The city is quite small but you get to buy fresh fish and there is a market at the weekends.

The hotel's charm has diminished. As a regular guest, we were given a room with a view of the spa roof; we had booked a room with a garden view. There was no regular discount, nor was there any explanation. The service in the rooms has declined. On two days, the beds weren't made, but there was a card on the bed. At least the towels were changed. That's not four-star! The price for these inferior services...

Very nice and quiet hotel in the middle of the town. We were there with our 2 kids and we were one of a few families. Mostly elderly people so we had most of the pool and spa for us self.

A very good hotel, but the point deduction is due to the inconsistent handling of smoking on the breakfast terrace and balconies. We stayed in room 418 for 6 days. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi in the room. There was on the balcony and in the hallway, but what was the use? We informed reception on the first day. Unfortunately, the problem had not been remedied by the time we left. The mattresses were extremely worn. You'd roll out of bed if you weren't careful. The food was excellent. Hotel is located just beside the train station and reception is welcoming. Rooms are sufficiently large, are comfortable and WIFI is quick enough to work from the hotel room (or the lobby). It was a nice big apartment . We thought we had connecting rooms and one shared bath, but not to be . 2 separate rooms and a community bath with showers. Overall clean and quiet and good access to transportation to Cruise terminal in Warnemunde.
