Hotel Garni SEESCHLÖSSCHEN in Kolpinsee

A beautiful 50m² apartment (No. 4, "Ostseeperle"...Karlstrasse 3, 17459 Kölpinsee) with a huge kitchen and a lovely living room. The bathroom is also very spacious, and everything has been thought of! The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and outside the apartments, there are either terraces or two super cool beach chairs for relaxing. The breakfast at the adjoining Hotel Seeschlösschen (just around the corner) is excellent – ​​reasonably priced, with a good selection of everything, even if you arrive a little later. There's fruit, muesli, classics like scrambled or boiled eggs, and a variety of cheeses and cold cuts. Breakfast must be booked separately, but if you can't add it online, it's no problem to do so on-site. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and, despite the high temperatures, pleasantly cool when coming in after a bike ride! A really great thing is that with the visitor's card (Usedom Card) you can travel for free on the Usedom Railway in this town (Kölpinsee)!!! This isn't possible in the Imperial Spas (Bandin, Heringsdorf, Ahlbeck)! The owners are incredibly lovely people, very accommodating, super friendly, and customer-oriented! I was extremely happy with my "short break" and will definitely come back – especially since it's a great location for cycling around the island – also because it's almost exactly in the middle! Fantastic, and thank you!

PS: Not everyone might immediately understand how the induction cooktop works when they're in the kitchen, which, by the way, is very spacious and high-quality, no question about it ;-) And the TV could be a bit more modern and larger, because unfortunately, we're all used to that these days, even at home... haha. But these aren't really important things, just "gentle" suggestions for improvement that are worth considering, but not essential ;-)

We stayed in a holiday apartment just a few meters away; everything was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, a great selection. It's best to arrive within the specified time, between 3 and 5 pm. The location is fantastic, right on Lake Kölpin and directly on the Baltic Sea.

First of all, many thanks to the lovely and welcoming team at Seeschlösschen. We booked the holiday apartment/flat, which isn't in the main building. You have to walk another 50 meters around the corner to reach it. There's a building with five holiday apartments. The parking spaces (plenty of room) are located in the enclosed courtyard. Breakfast is always served in the main building. The breakfast was fantastic, starting with the friendly staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind and helpful. The buffet had everything you could wish for, from sweets to various salads and, of course, fish (in different styles). The bread rolls (various types) were always incredibly fresh and delicious.

The beach isn't far either, just a few meters down the road, a 5-minute walk.

The train station is also just a few meters away, which is perfect since you can travel for free with the guest card. Kölpinsee itself is quite peaceful, which we really appreciated. There's a small market square by the beach with three restaurants, including a delicious fish shop. Prices are also very reasonable and not as exorbitant as in larger tourist spots. If you're looking for more hustle and bustle, you can easily take the train to Heringsdorf, Bansin, Karl's Strawberry Village, etc. We will definitely come back and spend a few days here at the Seeschlösschen.

The accommodation is very well located. It's not far from the beach or the train station.
Parking is available. The breakfast is plentiful, and the staff is very friendly. During peak season, you'll need some patience, as the breakfast room can get a bit busy. But we didn't find it a problem, as there was already coffee available :-)
The rooms are spacious and clean.
We felt very comfortable.

Rooms were clean and adequately sized.
Breakfast is actually good and sufficient, but it's really difficult to serve the large number of breakfast guests. We always had to wait for something. Over 20 minutes for coffee is unacceptable. Refills often took a while.
Leisure activities were all subject to a fee.
We really liked the free use of the UBB with the guest card.

We had a wonderful weekend in Loddin and stayed at the Hotel Seeschlösschen for the first time. The furnishings aren't new, with a bit of an 80s charm. However, everything was clean and without any issues. The mattresses didn't seem old; they were certainly very comfortable. The initial welcome from the owner was rather reserved, but the receptionist was all the more friendly. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic; there was nothing lacking. The staff is also very, very friendly.

I only booked one night and was very satisfied overall. My room key was handed to me promptly at 10 a.m. on the day of arrival. The room was very clean, functional, quiet, and less than 10 minutes from the beach. The only drawback was the lack of blackout curtains. Breakfast isn't served until 8 a.m.

Quite wonderful. We went to eat there several times. In the restaurant you can watch the cook sizzle. Very cozy and very friendly staff. Bravo
