This place is a scam. They accused us of bringing a dog (which was completely false) and tried to charge us €90 for “special cleaning.” They also charged us €40 because we forgot to empty one of the six rubbish bins in the house and didn’t put the plates away after cleaning them before check-out – which was impossible to do, as the house didn’t provide any kitchen towels.
On top of this, they charge €0.49 per kilowatt-hour of electricity used. Not only is such a charge highly unusual, but it is much higher than average energy prices on the German market.
My only recommendation is to stay as far away from this place as possible and choose another accommodation in this otherwise beautiful area.

The house was generally spacious and mostly clean, with plenty of kitchenware, a sauna, and a small wood-burning stove/fireplace.
Heating in the house is entirely electric, including the underfloor heating and the sauna.
There is also a barbecue grill available, and from what I noticed, each house has its own parking space.
IMPORTANT: Additional costs (almost nothing is included!)
• Write down the electricity meter reading immediately upon arrival, because electricity consumption is CHARGED – €0.45 / kWh.
We have travelled across most of Europe, the Balkans, and Turkey, and we have never been charged for electricity anywhere else.
• If you want to use the fireplace/stove, you must bring or buy firewood at the reception.
• If you don’t bring your own bed linen and towels, you must pay:
• €9.50 per adult
• €5.50 per child
Breakfast – buffet costs:
• €17.50 per adult/day
• €10 per child/day
Swimming pool use – limited to 2 hours:
• €5 per adult
• €3 per child
Swimming pool + sauna package:
• €8.50 per adult
• €5.50 per child
Children’s playroom is also charged:
• €6–10 per child
• €6 per adult
•Use of natural gas is 4€ / m3.

Great scandi houses with lake access, huge gorgeous playgrounds, animation activities, various gastro options and even a circus is there on summer season. Planning on returning for a longer stay to further explore the gorgeous many lakes, castles and towns of the MV area.

The camping site was beautifull. The toilets and showercabins were not. A bit dirty. The camping was fully booked, only three toilets for men ( one was defect, so only two actually ) … The worst thing about our camping experience at camping Leppinsee was the guy at the reception. We arrived and had some trouble with our internet and our payment didn’t came true immediatly, he had no patience and was very rude. Rolling with his eyes and sighing the whole time. He was so unfriendly that we were thinking about leaving immediatly ( after our 6 hour drive!!!! ) When we left the reception, and closed the door to his cabin, he started yelling to us aswell (?).. The day after I went to town, came back and was waiting to pass the entrance. I was not fast enough for him, so he started waving his arms and yelling to me, even though there was no problem at all. He kind of ruined our Stay.

We stayed at Ferienpark Mirow for a long weekend and overall we were happy with the holiday house. There are plenty of things to do and everything looks clean and well taken care off. Restaurants on site as well as around the area offer a good variety of different kinds of food in a good quality and reasonable price.
I'm taking one star away for the "special" offer I was made at check in. I was offered a electricity flat rate price of €35 per day (which has an added benefit of a quick check-out process as well I was explained). I strongly advice not to take this offer. In the end we ended up paying €6 per day for our actual electricity consumption (which included using the Sauna), the check-out went fast and smooth.

Nice place and wonderful location. The equipment in some of the houses was sub-par, but mostly manageable.

We were very impressed by the organisation of the venue, the location and the friendliness of our host and the house we stayed in. We -and most of all our children- enjoyed our holiday in the lake area of Germany very much and thank you all.
