Park-Hotel Hübner in Warnemunde

I strongly recommend this place. we stopped in for a night on the beach. It's one block, or about 30m, from the dunes. The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean, well appointed, and the service is extraordinary - among the most friendly and thoughtful service I've ever experienced at a German hotel. The room was spacious, had a very nice balcony, comfortable beds and a very well appointed bathroom (though it only had a shower). Smokers will appreciate the smoker's lounge on the lobby floor. Breakfast was excellent. We will return, for sure.

Very comfortable hotel, spa was well furnished and quiet. Was a little dismayed to have a staff member open the door to the sauna and give a 5 minute lecture on the need to sit on towels while using it, towels were all brown from the benches afterwards.

Excellent breakfast and outstanding shower. Rooms were a little hot and some air con would have been nice. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Hubner Park is less than a block from the beach front. It is the sister hotel to Hubner Strand which is directly beachfront. Services and amenities are about the same in the two hotels, except the Park doesn't have water views and is a little more budget friendly.
Our room was large, airy with good king bed, excellent shower and toilet room. Buffet breakfast was very good. Spa with steam room and sauna and indoor pool is included for guests and is great. Pool not heated, but it is indoors. Room has a safe and towel heating rack, which i use to dry sink washed laundry. Walk to the beach is no problem; it is very close. There are numerous hotels along the beachfront. This pair of hotels seems like the nicest. We stayed for a few days before a Baltic cruise. It was a good choice. Warnemunde is fun , typical beachy town. But the Baltic sea is not swimmable unless you are a walrus.

Very minor, but a few critiques for future improvement: No tea kettle in the room. No English TV stations/news channel. Excellent hotel overall. I would return.
