Excellent location, really close to the city centre. The parking is tiny and requires some skill to get into (really narrow gate). The breakfast served is varied and tasty, the products used are of top quality. The rooms (single) are unfortunately very tiny, and the choice of carpet might pose problems to people with allergies. The sound insulation in the rooms is excellent and the bed was comfortable...

The personnel (especially Caroline and Donatello) are excellent 10/10 recommend.

Great hotel and loved the breakfast. Unfortunately the TV stopped working somewhere at night and although the rooms are soundproofed against outside noise, one can still hear a lot of sound from the hallways. Recommended to bring earplugs when one wishes to sleep until after 8am

Bed collapsed early in the morning, hurt my back in the process. Other than that, all was well.

We were there for breakfast (I was invited), the service was great, always attentive and checking if anything was missing 🥰. I was there two days earlier to get a voucher; the receptionist was super nice and explained everything. The location is also great 🫶. Parking isn't so good.

The ambiance was tasteful, but unfortunately the double room was very cramped and lacked seating. The reception opening hours are too short for business travelers. I found the parking situation very confusing (the GPS didn't recognize the street, there was no street sign, and the parking lot was poorly lit) and time-consuming. Breakfast was good.

I loved it—so much that I want to keep it secret and not post a review! I had a top floor room with vaulted ceiling and loft and kitchenette. It was immaculate and very comfortable—andwonderful. In a fantastic location in town. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Really loved my stay in Detmold.

It's a strange sort of hotel. There is no restaurant aside from at breakfast, but that's fine as the town centre is only a few minutes walk with plenty of bars and restaurants. Where there used to at least be a bar there is now a closed off area with an indoor bike rack. The rooms are OK, a good size, clean and comfortable. Some have a small balcony with a table and chairs. Very comfortable room, large bathroom, excellent cleaning. There are no toiletries, only soap in the dispensers. There is no safe. Very courteous staff. A little disorganized at breakfast: you had to wait for the tables to be cleaned because there were few tables available as the tables were all for four, usually occupied only by couples. Best place to stay over in that city. Clean, ok sized but modern rooms with AC. Staff, location, service really excellent and breakfast offers alternating items ever morning besides the regular local and intercontinental goods.

Really nice place. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, tasty and plentiful breakfast. With fresh waffles! And prosecco. There are small paper bags in every room. If you are caring for the planet, you'll get a small reward. Nice idea! Works better then " leave your towel on the floor" :)
