It was a very huge room. Bed soft and bathroom has shower 🚿 and bath 🛁 just sad because I didn't had breakfast here. But everything is perfect 👌

When we arrived we got welcomed really nice and had a super polite staff member handing us the keys maximum 15 seconds later. The Wifi was very good aswell and the breakfast got refilled very constantly. All in one can I say that I would come back if I am close to the Hotel again.

We felt very comfortable and welcome in this hotel. A warm welcome, useful tips, comfortable beds in the rustically furnished room, everything contributed to the fact that we recovered well after a strenuous bike ride. And the next day a breakfast awaited us that left nothing to be desired. Absolute recommendation!

One of the best Hotels I have visited for a long time. The rooms are beautiful, great choice on food (big portions) and the location is so convenient. The owners and all members of staff are so accommodating and will help where they can and go the extra mile too. I have spend a week at this Hotel and was sad to leave. Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. I had a single room, which was the typical German single room with a single bed pushed against the wall. For the price perfectly fine! There restaurant is nice, the staff friendly. It'll be my choice to stay, when I'm back in Meden.

For the umpteenth time I was in this beautiful hotel. The rooms are very nicely furnished, quiet, nice view - especially to the south. You will always receive a friendly and warm welcome. The SPA area is very inviting. If you register in advance, a glass of water will be ready for you. In the adjoining restaurant you sit very nicely, the service is friendly and it tastes great. Always happy!

Not easy to reach at night, as the roads in the surroundings are dark, and it is a bit far from the main towns around. But the location is astonishing. A gem in the middle of the wood. Service was excellent in Reception, Bar and Restaurant. Dined in restaurant twice, once 7 people and once 3. Food was good both evenings and service was very good. Beautiful…. We use this hotel for work sometimes as the rooms feature our beautiful Keuco product in the bathrooms. It’s great for our customers to be able to use them personally. Rooms are beautiful, staff are great and the food is lovely! Only thing missing here for me is a gym! Beautiful spa area though! Looking forward to staying again soon.

Returning to Hotel Zur Post is always a treat: the hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Relativ großes Hotel. Ich war in etwa 4 unterschiedlichen Zimmern. Alles soweit sauber und gepflegt. Zimmereinrichtung und Bad würde ich mal auf Mitte/Ende 80er Jahre schätzen. Fernseher klein, teilweise noch Röhre. Restaurant und Frühstück gut. WLAN kostenlos aber von wechselhafter Qualität. Die Zimmer hatten alle einen kleinen Schreibtisch mit Steckdose.

This hotel is very beautiful, but food is very limited with little variety. The breakfast was just different types of granola, eggs, lunch meat, and rolls! No toast or pastries which was very odd. The restaurant at night offers salads, fish, and chicken all with risotto which was also bizarre since most German food comes with potatoes. Besides lacking in food choices, this hotel has tons of stairs...

Very friendly staff, they did everything to make our stay memorable. We travelled with two dogs, and they were really kind to them too. Excellent food in the restaurant that really exceeded our expectations. Vegetarian and even vegan options, which is not a given in Germany. Beautiful location in a little village surrounded by hills and forests. In summary: highly recommended!

Good rooms, a bit outdated hotel. Excellent breakfasts, good choice, everything is tasty and fresh. But be careful, their garage cameras do not record video, they only show in real time. If you have an incident, they will not be able to help you, as they did not help us.

The employees are super nice and the restaurant is good. But the room itself didn't look like the one I reserved from the website. And wasn't clean. There was insects on the bed. The liquid soap and shower gel they use come in containers you have to squeeze and there were visible fingerprints on them. In a hotel they should use contact less automatic dispensers. The tissue box was more than half empty...

The hotel is located in the centre of the city, the bus stop is nearby. The restaurant was great, especially staffs, very kind and attentive people! We were in this hoter for about 2 weeks with a group of children. Everything was fine, except of my room, because it doesn’t have a view from the window, just the wall, it’s awful, it was too dark and it’s really important for me to have a beautiful view...

Although this hotel needs an update, I still think it deserves 4 stars. Mainly because of the excellent service and friendly staff. Breakfast was also great! The first night, I had problems sleeping because of the thin pillow. I didn't complain, but was surprised to find extra pillows on the bed the next day. There were free earplugs as well, maybe because next to the hotel there are major building...

Firstly, the hotel is in center of the Iserlohn and I liked it’s location. It is furnished tasteful, also furnitures in the rooms are quite clean and new. The bed was so comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simply good. I can recomend Hotel Engelbert to visitors:)

The breakfast was gigantic. In the breakfast room there is a freezer with excellent cold cuts. My first impression was that it was a farm shop. But no, it wasn't like that. These cold cuts are for the guests. The nice hosts cut as much of each variety as you want (there was also real Parma ham). We were extremely impressed by this generosity and friendliness and will definitely be back. Many Thanks

A very nice hotel with beautiful grounds and a great restaurant. Very close to the motorway so no time is wasted if your stop is part of a longer journey but still very peaceful. One of the most comfortable beds my wife and I have ever slept in. Strongly recommended!

What a beautiful hotel! Our room was absolutely picturesque, and the hotel grounds were breathtaking. A really interesting combination of old German charm with a modern flare. We ate in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and both meals were great. If I’m ever in the area again I will consider Gut Kump a must stay location.

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are pleasant and the service is excellent. We very much enjoyed breakfast, again with excellent service. Dinner was very special, as was the advice, care and attention we received from Mr. Hering. When we arrived the hotel was set up for a birthday celebration-it looked superb. If we are in the area we would definitely come here again.

High quality room and very friendly personnel made my stay like at home. At checking-in and -out they gave attention to me like to a family member. And worth to mention how did they effectively supported me in emergency situation to purchase a tie that I needed for the evening party (have lost one during my journey). Kerzan is a nice place. They have a bus-stop directly in front of the hotel. The rooms are small, bathroom is very small and the breakfast is very poor, but the staff is really friendly. It takes about 50 min to the DTM airport.

I was with my family last weekend for just 1 night and it was very pleasant, I have nothing to complain about. It is a hotel away from the center, modern and comfortable. We didn't arrive in time for dinner at the restaurant but it would certainly be an option. The room was clean, good supply of soap, towels and toilet paper. In the wardrobe were the slippers and plastic bags. Good cost-benefit.

I stayed at this hotel last year. Overall, it was okay, for the money you pay, don't expect too much. It doesn't belong to the category of establishments I would rate with 4 or 5 stars. The food is okay. As for the staff, you might be used to a cold attitude, but for me, it was fine. I can't say they were overly friendly or accommodating. The spa center was also okay, nothing special compared to hotels...

Amazing hotel and experience. The spa is beautiful and very clean with great views over the lake. Hotel service was very professional and they were able to cater food for my gluten free & nut allergy requests. Only thing in my opinion that let the room down slightly was the aircon not working, tv was difficult to work and pillows were not great, however still a top stay!!

The hotel staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We liked the garden and grounds and the hotel decor. The drink and food were of excellent quality. We spent most of the time in the Spa and was well looked after by Emily who was most attentive, helpful, happy and delightful staff member. The massage was fabulous and relaxing. The L'Arivee is one of the few hotels we would happily book again.

Budget friendly hotel, room was nice. Aircon was loud and didn’t do an awful lot, Bathroom was the best. Bed very comfortable however the bedroom itself wasn’t exactly spacious! Be prepared, no wardrobe or draws of any kind just a rail for hangers. No safe either, bottle of water supplied but room was that disgustingly warm it was warm as there wasn’t a fridge. Well worth the stay if visiting...

We stayed 2 nights as part of a package to see Borussia Dortmund play. The hotel is well outside the city centre however it is conveniently located across the road from a light railway station that had a regular service to the city centre, taking approximately 15 minutes. Staff where friendly and helpful at check in and helped us to move room when we were booked into a double instead of a twin room...

We stayed 3 nights over a weekend in April in this very nice small hotel. We had a large room in the new building next to the old hosue with the restaurant. The interior including the bathroom was very modern and worked very well. Very little noise from other guests or from the traffic. Breakfast was traditionally German, fresh and delicious.
