Fairly straightforward check in. Bathroom had a leak which drowned the floor although it was quite dated. The hotel itself is fairly close to the town centre for convenience.

The overall appearance of the hotel is very nice and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was good and plentyful. The room i stayed in was very hot and the radiator seemed to have a mind of its own readjusting and it stayed very warm. My second issue is the bathtub / shower it was moldy and and also unsafe as the bottom is very slippery which makes it very dangerous to get out off. My wife had fallen...

Very old furnishings, room very noisy, bed made noises and mattress was extremely uncomfortable and uneven, would not go there again, could hardly sleep because it was so loud

Not a bad hotel, good rooms . The room has a small fridge, kettle, coffee and tea. Good breakfast in the morning (price 15 euros). The only thing I didn't like was the paid parking at the hotel

Due to a car breakdown, we had to spend a weekend in Grevenbroich involuntarily. But we were lucky in misfortune: the owner of the hotel sonderfeld and the staff did everything they could to make our stay a very pleasant one. We recommend this hotel highly! Thank you very much! Gisela and Holger

After 4 years due to Covid we arrived at the Sonderfeld staying for many years ago we were greeted like friends .The hotel is still great the breakfast is 5 star the lift is still there also the bar plenty of car parking spaces and the railway station bus station and taxi rank all across the road.5 star hotel for 3 star prices cannot beat it John Hellewell.

Nice comfortable clean hotel, bathroom was fine, clean towels etc. Shame the games room and garden seats weren’t available outside restaurant times. Staff very helpful when on duty but obviously don’t work weekends except breakfast time.

I actually only looked at it from the outside. But its in a rather urban district of the city right near the station and it looks nice with the small restaurant. And it has free wifi.

First of all the staff were excellent and very helpful. The problem for this hotel is that it is very dated and in need of a refresh. Currently no complimentary wi-fi. Breakfast selection was decent.

We celebrated my mother's 86th birthday with a small group of friends and family. The food and service were absolutely impeccable! I would even say the service was very attentive and dedicated! An oasis of calm. We have felt very comfortable here. The rooms are functionally furnished with no frills like minibar. The room and the bathroom were very clean. Also the breakfast was very good. We didn't miss anything either! We'll definitely be back.

Excellent place. Very pleasantly surprised. Food was fantastic and great prices. Staff were very friendly, not typical German service. More like Irish service. Toilets extremely well kept. Well worth a visit.

Room was clean and well maintained, but not very quiet since it's super close to the railway, especially at midnight when the train passed by. What upset me most is that there are a lot of bugs on the ceiling, unbelievable, isn't it?!

The room was really nice, clean and I enjoyed having a little kitchenette to make myself tea in the morning. I really liked the lighting and the overall atmosphere in the room. Nice stay in a very clean and fresh environment.

Good location, walking distance to the town centre & train station. We were in room 5 which, if you can I would avoid, because it is located next to the office & every time they came out of the office our door rattled. Which over time is annoying. It is located next to the train line which run all night, however the door rattling was more noticeable.

my room was facing the railway and trains were passing late and very early in the morning.

Easy check in and check out. Reasonable price. Everything in the room was clean and correct. Recommended!
