Lindenhof in Grevenbroich

Location is right next to a cemetary. Rooms are ok- although spiderwebs in bathroom. One person at our table ordered a steak but received the wrong one. They took it to the kitchen only to bring back the same one saying it was correct. Website stated kitchen is open until 11pm. We had a small family reunion (Friday night) - people haven't seen each other in 20 years. At 9:50pm the waiter came and closed out the bill saying they were closing. He shut the light off and left. They owner was outside smoking, he was not interested. The next morning 2 family members joined us for breakfast. They did not provide more cold cuts for them. The rolls were frozen and baked, not from a bakery. They charge 15 Euros per person. Not worth it! Internet price was lower than what we paid.

Actually, the rooms are nice, but... If you like dirt and trash under the bed, if you like finding a full bathroom trash can upon arrival, if you like a dirty bathroom and don't need a flush toilet, and you're willing to spend €300 on it, then this hotel is definitely for you. We asked the manager about it, but he wasn't interested.

The prices at this hotel are an absolute disgrace. The rooms are okay, the breakfast is a joke, and the manager is rude and rips off his guests. I had a single room for one night with breakfast and paid €110.00… Mind you, without an invoice and with the manager's comment that this was a special price, since there was a trade fair in Düsseldorf.
