Where to stay in Monchengladbach

Clean room, friendly staff, and convenient location, sauna room and good coffee station for free coffee and tea. Recommend to stay here.

Our room on the 7th floor was divided with a double door to the next room, so we can hear the people easily next door who stay there , they can make that as a family room for 4 people , noisy. Old fashion bathroom with a laying bath who made it dangerous to slide. No diner served in this hotel so you must leave it , and in the neighbourhood there is nothing. The first possibillity 1km further walking...

Good, clean hotel however rooms need an update. Good breakfast with sweet and savory options. Coffee and water are always available. In general good value for the price.

The hotel is situated in a great location, close to the city center and offers convenient parking. The rooms are large and tidy, though the lighting could use some improvement. Guests can choose whether or not to have daily room cleaning, and the front desk is staffed at all times in case anything is needed. Breakfast is good, with a wide variety of choices, and complimentary coffee is available all...

Hotel is in a very nice city spot and close to the center with available parking. Rooms are spacious and clean, although the lightning could be better. Options to have the reoom cleaned daily or not and if something is needed, there is always somebody at the reception. Breakfast is fine with many options and it offera free coffee all day long next to the receptions which is a nice touch. Recommend...

Very good, would recommend. High cost performance for business trip

Great hotel. Rooms are quite new and the attention to small details are good. The room is clean. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're passing by Mönchengladbach.

Renovated Clean Functional Gtreat Location Probably the best hotel in Munchen Gladbach

Recent renovations mean that the rooms are very fresh, spacious and clean. The restaurant is still Subject to some work, so windows are covered meaning you miss the nice view to the trees outside. Easy to walk to Zentrum area in less than 10 minutes. Some parking at rear of hotel but covered spaces are unusable due to the hotel refurbishment ongoing.

Newly renovated, good size rooms, clean, very convenient

A plus that it is within walking distance of the local food scene and train station

Perfect location, the famous park near by for jogging, room clean and with opened window, receptions are very helpful.

It was a great place. I will stay there next time I am in the area.

Excellent hotel design, very helpful staff, clean rooms, breakfast for everyone. Public transport not far from the hotel.

Unless you're staying there for the football. You're way outta town. Rooms were cool, although the large murals of the legendary football players heads, initially was brilliant... But weird at night. It felt like they were staring at you.

Great hotel theme, adjunct to Borussia-Park. No desk in the room.

The hotel is very new and close to the football field, suitable for football fans. The facilities are complete and the design is very good. Recommended

Hotel is situated a little way out of town right by the stadium. Rooms are a little small but well equipped. Beds are comfortable and loads of light from big windows. Only complaint was no real cupboard so you feel like you are living out your suitcase. Bathroom is great and the shower probably best I’ve had in a hotel room. There is a sports bar / restaurant downstairs and if you are lucky you might...

No complimentary water available at the room, no kettle and or coffee. Just a plain room. For a person who don't have a car, it is far away from the city. But it's okay if you just need to sleep there!

The rooms are clean and tidy, but they look different in the pictures. A neighboring apartment building has a direct view into the window, and the elevator is broken.

Clean hotel convenient location

Clean hotel convenient location

Parking space is right in front of the hotel. Small size morning buffet. Rooms are clean and quiet even though we have window facing the street. You have to come to the other hotel (200m away) to check in.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Rooms are well soundproofed against traffic noise. Back there at end of month.

Hotel rooms ok and nice receptionist but the food for breakfast looks not fresh at all

In the city with park place and breakfast. Small but nice and clean

Modern great food friendly staff

Reasonably priced Hotel and Restaurant in Viersen. Good international country cuisine, alert and quick service. Clean small rooms,WiFi available and large parking for larger crowds

Very welcoming people! Cheap for a big and simple room. I recommand

I visited this city the first time I was on business and then I took a vacation before returning to Finland. It is a very wonderful city with a very charming and enjoyable atmosphere. There were many options for hotels but I chose this hotel because of its wonderful location from everything. I got a beautiful atmosphere there and the staff at the hotel are very wonderful. They love to provide everything...

Simple basic accomodation. Partly selfservice to get in. Friendly staff. Small but clean room. Some noise on the street but good location with some noght life around the corner. Edit after reading the reaction of the owner: For me the word "simple" is not a negative word and did not want to give the impression that my overnight stay was negative. I gave a 4 star evaluation which, in my opinion, is...

Placed near the Alter Markt is a good choice for your stay in this city. The room was places in diferent building, but was new and quiet, and the bed so confortable.

Nice hotel. I was there for five days. Stay is comfortable and the staffs are friendly.

Best value for money ...and in the center of all bars

Greetings 🙋🏾‍♂️., we loved it had great nite too. Will be visiting very often .one request is it possible to use the gym next time we there ? That would be the icing on the cake 🙏🏽 .I love training would be perfect. But all in all I recommend anyone to visit Mcdreams hotel . You will never regret it . Have recommend to 4 of my friends have already booked it hope they come back with my experience....

The location of hotel is right in front of supermarket and near the downtown. Its also good location if you are heading to Düsseldorf or Roemond designer outlet. The non-person check in and parking were also good. Overally it’s worth to the price. One one downside is smell in a room, I guess it’s from cleaning chemical.

It is overall a very good hotel. My main gripes are: 1. The helpline is hard to use for non-German speakers, I couldn't get anywhere 2. Given it is an automated hotel, there is no staffed reception and hence no service to, for example, keep the luggage in the hotel for the last day after checkout. It would be nice if you could offer some means of self-service storage facility.

Check-in is automated, but it’s not difficult to figure out. Parking is free, but you need to place a card with the dates of your stay under the car windshield (it’s provided in the room). The room is not large, but it’s enough for spending one night. Everything is clean, and the beds have comfortable mattresses. The price-to-quality ratio is good.

3 rooms perfect for one night. Showers very powerful and towels a decent size.. Beds comfortable and clean. Parking easy. Check in straightforward once I got going 😊

Everything was perfect, Online check-in was smooth Room was clean, bathroom was top-notch Free parking, bus stop right around the corner The only drawback: air conditioning would have been great, but we knew that beforehand 😀

Good place. Great room for the money.

My guest really enjoyed their stay

A great place to stay overnight after a Borussia Dortmund Bundesliga match. The rooms are clean, although a bit dated, but the mattresses are very good. Breakfast, at €19 per person, is good and reasonably priced.

You get what you pay for. If you have to spend a couple of days there, the hotel is fine.

Easily accessible from the highway. Unfortunately, dinner is not possible due to the kitchen closure.

We spent a football weekend at this hotel. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, although they are in need of some renovation. The furniture is a bit dated, but this doesn't affect the comfort. We particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast – a great start to the day.

Friendly staff, nice simple room, bed could be a bit better.

Food is good but we waited for more than an hour.

Amazing hospitality and clean comfortable rooms....true German experience....highly recommended.

Small and quite hotel old fashioned. Good place for rest.

Great place to stay. Clean and tidy rooms. Comfortable beds. Very good selection at breakfast. Restaurant is also very good with plenty of choice and very reasonably priced. Ate here on three occasions. Never disappointed. Would recommend.

Very cozy hotel! Rooms are nice and the staff is very nice too. The food at the restaurant is great! However, the restaurant is only open Tuesday through Sunday but breakfast is every day.

Very good service & price acceptable!

Very good good location "staf help ful, come back for sure,

Booked a room 3 weeks in advance for match night(BMG vs Bayern). When I arrived they told me that there was a mistake and that all the rooms had been booked up - no rooms left for me. Eventually I got given a double room, which was better than the single I had booked. The staff were very friendly and empathetic in fairness. The key for the room door was also the key for the front door of the hotel...

Very clean large room. Reasonably decorated, for a good price. Will definitely come again

I stayed for 3 weeks, the receptionist (both of them) and the manager were very polite. I will give this hotel a 5 star for the following reasons: 1.they New we are Muslims, they bought special halal mortadilla for us. 2.The magager gave us flowers and chocklate as an apology for the lift went out of order which was repaired next day. 3.they gave us a tray of continantal breakfast on easterday🌹 4.They...

Friendly staff, giving us useful infos about some cycle routes. It was nice to sleep in a normal bed after a week. Accommodated our tandem in safe place. Not the best part of the city...

I usually don’t give reviews, but this place was so phenomenal. I was compelled to. I’m sitting here eating breakfast, which is fit for a king. The service is the best I’ve ever had in the US or in Europe. The food is phenomenal all handmade and prepared. The rooms and the ambience are exquisite and romantic my parents met here and fell in love in 1957, The cost is a bargain compared to other i’ve...

Overall ok place to stay, a bit noisy

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, perfect restaurant & taste. We stayed for Drupa exhibition, 5 nights. İt was a good experience. İt is not so far away from the messe, about 30km away, driving from the motorway takes about 20 minutes to arrive the hotel. The restaurant has Michelin star awards. İt deserves that star because of the tastes were incredible . Soup, shells, Turbot, fawl, puzzle desserts...

Amazing place with amazingly lovely personal, delicious and healthy food!

Not bad Room a lit le but old. Light going through the windows during the night... Restaurant: Excellent, gastronomic, a little expensive for everyday lunch or dinner

All employees are very friendly, do their job very well, helpful and friendly. Also the restaurant is great. Morning coffees became indispensable.thank you for everything. I highly recommend..

Amazing location, clean rooms and most important friendly and helpful employees ❤️

We had a really nice evening celebrating our tiny wedding with excellent food at Rosenmeer. Very cozy and nice designed dining room and the best steaks we EVER had in our lifes.

It was a good experience. I was there for my son's Abiturfeier.

Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere - highly recommended

Great place, great food. Definitely try the burger when you are here 🍔 🤤

Friendly staff, excellent clean rooms, and a very good breakfast. Would happily go back again

Price-performance too expensive!!

it was a nice stay. The owner is very friendly and the room was double room for single use. i can recommend this hotel

Staying on the third floor could create problems for the less mobile patrons as, per my room, the fire exit was through the fanlight and onto the roof where you would need to be extracted by the local fire brigade should there have been an internal fire. I have come across much worse during my extensive travels though.

Bright, clean, and spacious, industrial-style room with a modern bathroom. Pleated privacy blinds and blackout blinds are available. The room also features a large refrigerator, Senseo coffee machine (including pods, milk, and sugar), kettle, and microwave. Ample private parking is available in a secure area.

Nice local family hotel. It is located in a neighbourhood with limited dining options and limited public transportation

The rooms are very good. Unfortunately, there's a smell of urine in the stairwell. Breakfast doesn't live up to the high price! Little choice, practically none. No drinking water, etc. The tables are sticky. The overnight stay is very good. Breakfast is better at the bakery.

Very nice place, nice rooms and friendly service. No problems. Quiet place, close to shops.

Extremely helpful host. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Amazing shower. Highly recommend

Older property with old charm.

I’ve benn there before great service but taking way to long to open I really liked that place

Really nice stay in a double room. Janina (the owner?) was super helpful and understanding both before arrival via email and during my stay. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. my only very minor observation is I believe the room would be a little small for two people but it was perfect for me as I was travelling alone. Complementary bottled water was provided in the room and the private...

Nice place to stay for a short break.

Familiar and friendly small hotel, clean and good breakfast!!!

A beautiful little hotel offering exceptional service provided by the very kind and friendly owners who cannot do enough for you. Everything is clean, very cosy and an absolute treat. WiFi is provided, breakfast especially tailored to you and guests receive the warmest welcome imaginable. The location is superb: supermarkets nearby, as are buses, but it’s still quiet and green. The prices are brilliant...

Not been back in the Tannenhof for many years. But when we were on duty in the nearby Ayrshire Barracks we always enjoyed this nice hotel. The food. The draft beers. Great to note it still is there and in operation as a family business

Cosy and comfortable rooms, hospitable hosts, convenient location. I already stayed in Tannenhof several times and plan to come back again.

We know the Tannenhof for many years. And are Happy that it's still family run and doing well. In the old BAOR garrison years myself and some staff used to almost live in this nice quiet and laid back hotel.

Nice hotel with no AC Nice Hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast. Away from the center but perfect if you wanna go to the stadium. Only real downside. No one there if you arrive late and no air conditioning. It was really hot the days i soent there and the temperature in the room was unbearable

Good location for soccer and concerts in the Nordpark area.

Nice facility. Really close to the Borussia Monchengladbach stadium although not real close to town. Only issue I had was wifi didn't work for most of the stay there.

Fantastic breakfast with beautifully designed rooms and cozy atmosphere. The room was smaller than what we thought, but clean and pretty.

Great ambience, comfortable bed, secluded location, a feel-good hotel

I loved everything The rest the portraits on the walls and the whole style of the building

Liked its location next to the main station (Hauptbahnhof), with the main shopping streets nearby, but its location in the pedestrian area made pickups by taxi challenging. Generous breakfast buffet, but no cooked breakfast available. My room was on third third floor with no lift, so it is not for those with mobility issues. The room had no carpeting, and so you need to bring your slippers. On...

Family owned and operated. No elevator, but rooms on every half-landing. Rooms are large and offer kettles and small fridges - you might want yo ask for that individually so it can be cooled down before arrival. Breakfast available for 10 €, ask when check-in.

Stayed here for a week. Rooms were relatively well cleaned (there were some areas that could have be better). There were a few areas that maintenance may have been needed soon. Overall, the rooms were comfortable and nice. There is no elevator and the hotel spans several floors. The staff is awesome and had only pleasant experiences when interacting with them. Proximity to the hotel is a plus. Would...

Very comfortable, clean, value for money hotel with friendly staff. Ideally placed very close to the railway station. The only downside thzt although it didn't effect me, others may need to consider is that's there's only stairs and no lift. There are only a couple of rooms on each of the six floors

Rooms are good. Two rooms per floor, hence very quiet. Windows with good sound isolation. No elevator. Location very convenient. Pro and con: close to the train station. Self check-in after 9pm. Staff: very attentive. The experience was unique, and the reason I gave it 5 stars. Thank you girls! You were awesome 😎

Very cozy, small hotel with nice breakfast. Have been here before and world come again.

From the reception to the breakfast, and from the hospitality to the location, everything was above expectation. The only thing i could complain about was

From the reception to the breakfast, and from the hospitality to the location, everything was above expectation. The only thing i could complain about was the pillow, and that's really a me problem, because I never like hotel pillows and i forgot to bring my own. Worth every cent.

Great value. Clean, warm and comfortable, excellent bed. Our room faced a railway yard over fields but this did not interfere with sleep.

This was the second time I have stayed. The hotel is situated close to the main railway station , so convenient for day trips out to Koln or Düsseldorf . It can suffer from rail noise at night but sleep with window closed and it’s not so bad .

We choose B&B for our short stays when we are not 100% sure if we going to travel the planned route. The easy and flexible cancellation is the best. But even though the hotels aren't fency the rooms are comfortable and have good beds and are clean. The only thing missing is a third seating place in the family rooms.

Great location and great staff. The only problem is the surrounding area has a lot of substance users around, and seems unsafe in evening.
