Great location for the Paderhalle

Good breakfast, stupidly placed 230 V power outlets in the room, lots of street noise between 6-8 o'clock in the morning.

Needs to fix internet
I had a reservation at the hotel and then they sent me to an apartment three blocks away. That was fine once I found it.
The Guest wifi in my room was absolutely terrible and I couldn’t connect. I was very lucky to have had my mobile hotspot on my iPhone. This saved me. But the cellular connection in Paderborn is also relatively poor so the connection was a bit dicey. I was in room Pader 801.
They rent these rooms everyday, they should know by now that their guest wifi doesn’t work well and fix it.

Central, Walkable, Peaceful
Location was incredibly central to Paderborn's "Dom" and right on the Pader Spring/River. Very walkable to city, but also peaceful.

The hotel is very close to the center , you can simply walk to get to all the important and nice places to visit, the bus stop is also only 3-5mins of walk , the staff is really helpful and friendly and the rooms are nice and quiet.
two things which i did not like were
1) the double bed is made of 2 single beds so theres a gap in the middle which makes it a bit uncomfortable (can be fixed with a gap filler)
2) the blankets are small for 6ft + heighted person.
other than this I would totally recommend the hotel and also would definitely stay here the next time i visit Paderborn.

A trip down memory lane
We left Paderborn 20 years ago so this was a chance to revisit nostalgia and spend a few days at the Christmas markets. Art Hotel was a super choice because it had thatxreal individual gaste stube feel and everythingwas as you would expect. Definitely recommended.

It is a great place to stay. We took advantage of the hotel bike rentals, which allowed us to explore the city. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

A really nice place to stay. Clean and tidy. Good room service. Great location. Good facilities. Nice shower and bed.
It seems to be completely unmanned thought, getting the key was via access of a small locker outside the main door obtained by calling a number that was on the front door.

Very nice hotel, comfortable room/bed and an excellent breakfast. Beautiful lounge areas, free tea and coffee machine throughout the day and evening. I found it a little difficult to adapt to the German standard way of not having 24h reception, but we worked around it. The hotel offers a room-clean opt out and reward you with a free drink instead. We opted for this and it worked well. Just remember though (especially if you are not staying in the main hotel building, it means they don't bring new toilet rolls or fresh towels..you'll need to ask for these if needed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it. My only disappointment was that the Sauna was not open and I specifically chose this hotel for this facility.
