Very good hotel Good hotel, friendly staff. Particularly breakfast. My only complaint would be that they closed the restaurant early when I stayed on a Tuesday night.

Brilliant overnight stop at Hotel Susato. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay at a great price. Good parking, friendly service, a clean comfortable room and a good breakfast buffet. We also ate an evening meal in the restaurant, very good unpretentious cooking, attentive service and good value for money. Recommended.

Hotel Susato is just south of the nice old centre of Soest where once every couple of years the spectacular Soester Fehde (Feud) medieval festival takes place. Next to the hotel is a large parking place (P2) and on the other side of the ring road there is a nice park where part of the festival takes place when that’s on. The room is spacious, the interior is tasteful, the design is luxurious, overall we were happy with the room. But the air-conditioning was very weak, and the fan wasn’t even provided. The safe didn’t work. The service was ok. The location was good. The breakfast service team had difficulty to keep up with the busy breakfast crowd. We found it a pity that there’s no fridge, no kettle no coffee machine...

Unexpected gem! Excellent room. Five star, modern amenities in a very clean and spacious room. Modern bathroom with hair dryer provided. Have travelled all over Europe and United States and did not expect such modern amenities in such a quaint, small German town. Truly lovely.

The hotel is located not far from the motorway. The parking is free The building seems to be of the sturdy German construction, located in a quiet part of the village. We only had lunch here and didn't stay overnight. But the staff was very welcoming. They went out of their way to look after us. Exceptional service. Ambiente cosy and plenty of space between tables. Noise level was surprisingly low.

This was my 2nd time and I really like it here. There aren’t many hotels within the walls of Soest and this one is very reasonably priced. My aunt (not a guest) joined me for breakfast which was only €10.90. Breakfast is lovely. White and seedy bread rolls, croissant, hard boiled egg, meats and cheeses and of course very nice coffee. Breakfast room is also lovely and cosy.

A lovely relaxed hotel. Small and comfortable - although the rooms are really spacious. Beautiful food in the restaurant. Friendly staff who even helped me improve my very rudimentary German with patience and humour. I will definitely return. I want to explore more Soest and its surroundings and this hotel is a great hub to do this.

Clean, Efficient and Great Value Motel in Soest Citymotel Soest is a no frills but very clean, comfortable and efficient motel. Moderately large room. Exceptional value at 60 euros a night. Fully automated check-in. Minor snacks, coffee and beer (!) from a machine.

Very basic. But nice and cheap. Enough for one night stay on long journey. Rooms are very clean. Railway very close, you can hear it, but i think there’s no trains after 11pm. Car park is paid €2 for 24h which is not bad. Close to the city center. In general, my big yes. I think this will be my spot for stay, and I stay in Soest twice a year.

We booked this room primarily due to the price. We found the room to be equal to many other rooms on this trip that cost much more. It was quiet, clean, spacious and the mattress was firm.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and everything is always in good order. Very clean, well maintained rooms, nice breakfast, parking, very friendly staff... There is little to do in the area, but of course there is little the hotel can do about that. Tip: Christmas market!

Beautiful hotel great location. This is one of the best hotels i have stayed in. Food location clenliness was all superb. If i had to make a critism it would be the hidden €20 for parking the car. Include it in the price of the stay.

Wonderful hotel. Top quality. Attention to detail in the decor, amenities, service and food. Loved every minute of this hotel. The spa was excellent. One of the best I've stayed in. If the restaurant could stay open until 22:00, it would enable business travellers to enjoy the pool and spa for a little longer. Other than that, 10/10 from me!

Booked an overnight stay at the Hotel Wulff. A back massage, dinner and use of the in-house swimming pool and sauna were included in the price. 135 euros per person. It is a 3 star hotel, you shouldn't forget that. Free parking available. It's a bit old, but some effort has been put into furnishing it to make it pleasant. For a *** hotel you get really nice rooms here, the service was absolutely courteous and friendly. The wellness treatment I received (bathtub with massage jets) was super pleasant and relaxing. There's definitely room for improvement in terms of gastronomy, but for the price it's absolutely fine. I would go there again at any time.

My girlfriend and I stayed there for one night. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. All the employees were very nice. The application was also very pleasant. It's a small hotel right next to the spa park, so if you don't like it so busy, you're in good hands there. We will repeat it again.

The breakfast was gigantic. In the breakfast room there is a freezer with excellent cold cuts. My first impression was that it was a farm shop. But no, it wasn't like that. These cold cuts are for the guests. The nice hosts cut as much of each variety as you want (there was also real Parma ham). We were extremely impressed by this generosity and friendliness and will definitely be back. Many Thanks

Appropriate price-performance ratio. Tidy rooms, clean and all in all okay. Parking spaces can become scarce. Breakfast is sufficient. Pizzeria across the street and a pleasant place with good cuisine next to the hotel.

I stayed here for one night last weekend with a group of 6 men on a bicycle tour. For our purpose this was exactly the right place. Self-check-in, late arrival, secure bike garage and a good breakfast buffet deserve a good review. One problem with one of our 3 rooms was dealt with in a professional manner, even so there was no staff on site. Overall good value for the money!

Older hotel, nice staff and great breakfast

A very nice hotel with beautiful grounds and a great restaurant. Very close to the motorway so no time is wasted if your stop is part of a longer journey but still very peaceful. One of the most comfortable beds my wife and I have ever slept in. Strongly recommended!

What a beautiful hotel! Our room was absolutely picturesque, and the hotel grounds were breathtaking. A really interesting combination of old German charm with a modern flare. We ate in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and both meals were great. If I’m ever in the area again I will consider Gut Kump a must stay location.

We were received very nicely and had a nice seating area. The quality of the products used was great, but the courses were rather uninspired. I would have hoped for a taste adventure rather than plain comfort food. Overall a pleasant evening, but I wouldn’t come again.

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions now. Centrally located, the hotel is very clean. They offer a great breakfast and nothing is too much trouble to their wonderful staff. Quite frankly, we would go nowhere else.

Nice small hotel, good value for money

We were invited to a birthday party and stayed overnight at the house. The welcome was very friendly, as was the service throughout the evening. The menu was very interesting. I was very satisfied with my meal. Breakfast the next morning was also very good, with a wide selection. We will definitely come back with friends. Such excellent cuisine is rare these days.

We were here as part of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route. After conquering the climb, we were able to park our bikes in the on-site garage. We were also allowed to charge them there. Once we warmed up to the staff, the evening went wonderfully! We had a great time with the owner's son, had a lot of fun, and received excellent service. All in all, a fantastic stay – I highly recommend it.

I celebrated my birthday there with my family. The staff and Mrs. Hoffmann were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and all requests were accommodated. Whether it was children's or senior citizen portions, even gluten-free food was taken into account. Thank you for the lovely evening. 101% for the delightful orchard.

The hotel has style. Nice rooms, nice view of the market square. The hotel is very nicely decorated inside, has an old style but modern. This is right on the market square. There is also parking for guests only. I can only recommend.

No ammenities provided, except tea bags and hot water, I had to buy the toothbrush, and they had not razors or foam. Room was nice and clean. Nice views. Price was OK, not cheap, but being the only higher quality hotel around could be justified.

This is probably my third time staying in this hotel, and the room I was given this time was a bit small. Everything is fine, just that simple and quality feeling. It’s the simple feeling I like. fine.

The hotel offers superb value for the price. It is in excellent condition and has a fantastic location. The buffet breakfast options were good, and the staff exceeded the standards of most hotels in Germany, especially considering the challenges in finding staff. We highly recommend it and are sure that we will be back.

Excellent experience We stayed in a large, well designed room with integrated shower and wash basin, accessible and easy to use for everyone without having the feel of a ‘disabled’ room, comfortable beds, very clean. The breakfast buffet offered a good choice, and we also had a great dinner in the hotel restaurant. All in all a very pleasant experience, also good value for money.

If you are looking long stay, it is not advisable because of no kitchen in the rooms. They will provide food for additional cost..., I was here for 1 week... We stay here for a night after our friend wedding night. It was really nice and comfy. The place was clean and organize it has plenty rooms and we were allowed to bring the dog in for a lil extra charge which was nothing. Everything was working fine in the room. Also reasonable price .
