We are having a lovely time in Soest and Pilgrim haus was exactly what we were hoping for. The main part of the building was built some time in the 130 and it’s really beautiful. The staff is the most helpful and kind. Our German is close to nothing but the woman who runs the hotel spoke English, helped us situate ourselves in Soest. She even helped us connect with an old friend from the area. The room we had was big with pretty view. They have a nice restaurant downstairs and buffet breakfast. Good location, walking distance to the center of town.

It's nice, charismatic place to stay. Breakfast is a must. Really great choice of food and beverages (tasty, nicely present and good dietary accommodations).
The place is located in a good location although we had a bit of a problem finding a parking spot at first (circled 3 times around).
The room (apartment) was big and specious but since it's an old building you need to be careful when with kids (steps, uneven surfaces).
The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating.
Most of the tv channels didn't work but since we knew we won't be watching we didn't bother much.

We only had lunch here and didn't stay overnight. But the staff was very welcoming. They went out of their way to look after us. Exceptional service. Ambiente cosy and plenty of space between tables. Noise level was surprisingly low.

Great location right by the wall. Short walk to the center. Staff very friendly and attentive. Rooms very quaint, clean, neat and tidy. Lovely place to stay. Quite a steep staircase to rooms. Restaurant VERY popular and the food is excellent. Highly recommend.

Very clean room and excellent, modern bath room. Great ambiance as well. We ate at their restaurant, at their patio out back, and the service was wonderful and the food was great! Overall a great experience!

Great restaurant for takeaway during Corona lockdown times! Food was excellent, plated nicely and still warm when we had it at home. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, too. Highly recommended!

Room is huge and clean. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great!
