Lovely breakfast, lovely room. The only problem is the noise from the street wagons loading stuff to a shop early in the morning.

Nice hotel in center of very nice city.

The only suggestion I have for improvement is the pillows — they were very uncomfortable, and I had neck pain both nights because of them. Other than that, the hotel was nice and a good value for the price we paid. The breakfast was plentiful, and parking was very easy.

Room was ok. A bit warm as there was no air conditioning or fan. The bed was ok apart from the awful pillows (which you will find in most German hotels sadly) which are big, floppy and offer no support to your head. The bathroom was clean. The hill up to the hotel is very steep if youre walking. Hard work with a heavy suitcase, especially on the cobbles! Surrounding area nice. Near to the old town...

Room 31 was one of the romantic rooms and was quite nice. It had a separate lounge room with a soft lounge and a good sized balcony looking out over the edge of town. The bedroom had a lovely four poster bed which was very comfortable. The room was light and airy and offered some nice touches including welcoming chocolate and a fruit basket. The window had shutters which blocked out most of the light...

A beautiful place, nice and rich breakfast. Take two hours to walk the streets to the the old city, the castle, and the forest. Preferably early morning and hour after sunrise.

Absolutely lovely hotel..clean, comfortable with a wonderful breakfast. We came for a family wedding and couldn’t have asked for anywhere better! If I’m going to be picky coffee/tea facilities in the room would have made it 5 stars! Highly recommend and will definitely come back for another visit!

Excellent price and perfect for my need to just have a place to sleep. Even a better deal considering the host provides a very nice breakfast spread typical for Europe.

Great base from which to explore the region A reasonably priced hotel, competently managed and serviced by just one lovely lady. The room was sparsely furnished with minimal facilities to hang and store clothes, so we lived out of our suitcases, but otherwise perfectly adequate with a comfortable bed. A simple hotel, but fine for the price. Breakfast was better than expected.

The room was functionally furnished and very clean. The bathroom was very clean, but it was clearly missing hooks for hanging towels and washcloths. There wasn't enough storage space for cosmetics. There was also no shelf for shampoo and shower gel in the shower, and no place to dry used hand and bath towels. The breakfast was very poor and unimaginative for the price.

The accommodation is good, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I met a few other bikers there. I was out on my motorcycle. There's a gyro restaurant in town. The food there is very tasty and inexpensive.
