It is a good budget hotel but you need to be aware of the noise from the upper floors. There is no carpet to absorb the noise so you can hear everyone walking in their rooms and making noises. Apart from that the room was clean. Make sure to check in before 10pm otherwise you won’t check in at all.

There was no warm water so i could not shower, I am really discontent with this room

Parking was safe. No kettle in room. All very basic. Fine for a short night.

Its a very good budget option in the vicinity of the Ardennes and the Ruhr. Only slightly negative feature is it has some traffic noise in the rooms .If you are prone to that maybe take the other hotel 300 meter earlier from same owner.

The staff were extremely helpful with my van and helped lift heavy aid en route to Ukraine. When I offered to pay for their help, they refused. The room was comfortable and very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

lovely staff and a great old house. my room was clean and big but maybe facing the wrong side...or you bring ear plugs. the bathroom had everything what is needed but a little dated. at the end, I would go there again :)

We booked to stay here while attending the F1 Grand Prix in Spa, 29 miles away. It was convenient, very clean, had spacious rooms and was a pleasant stay. The only negative was that there are no staff onsite (all automated) and therefore no breakfast options. Not even tea or coffee making in rooms! I’d stay again, but I’d take a kettle with me. The hotel is very reasonably priced, but you shouldn't expect any comfort. The location is on an arterial road, the train station is far away, not within walking distance. There is no reception, it is uphill in another hotel.

Stayed here and went to local Christmas market. Great location for bus stops and railway station.

We used this hotel for a two night stop on our way around Northern Europe. On a budget, we used budget hotels. We chose it as it was close to Aachen and its cathedral. Owner is a nice greek lady. They also have nice greek restaurant at the ground floor. We wanted to eat something around 11 o'clock in the evening (when I suppose it was closed) and the guy (greek guy) prepared for us 3 gyros, very very good! Stay not the best. Location is really nice. Walking distance to Nice Square with restaurants. Hotel staff could have been friendlier. Room had no airconditioning and had to close windows due to outside noise & thereby room got rather heated, resultingin an uncomfortable night. . No coffee or other in room. No USB connections available. Overall the stay just okay.

Great Breakfast! The 3rd floor rooms are not pleasant because the ceiling slants due to the roof and I have hit my head a dozen times, you need to duck while walking through some of the room. Rooms on other floors seem nice though. Wifi as stated in other reviews is not very good.
