Very nice and spacious hotel with outside in front of hotel parking. Lovely and good restaurant. Very good over all. I stayed there the second time and would use it again every time.

Great hotel with comfortable rooms. Good location easy to access. Restaraunt in the hotel is very good with good tasty food.

Pleasant atmosphere, very courteous staff. Great rooms, just a place to feel at home.

Exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tablet in the room didn't work at all and I woke up one morning to no hot water. Nothing worse than an ice cold shower. If not for those two issues, I would have given 5 stars. Decent area with just about everything you need within walking distance (a mile or so).

The hotel was excellent. The reception staff were extremely helpful, the room was well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, car parking was convenient secure. I will definitely be back

The hotel was made from an old factory so you can see some cool photos of that era. The hotel itsself is well maintained and cleaned. Breakfast is classic continental with a good choice of options. Lunch/dinner options are pretty good too - you can even mix&match a couple of options. The staff is great 👍 I would miss better AC if I was here during hotter months, maybe, but being here several times...

Just stayed there for a couple of nights on my way through. There are new owners since August, in their 30s, very helpful and nice. It’s a a bit older but charming and I really like that it’s not just another franchise. Rooms are basic, tidy and comfortable. The hotel is right in town. Restaurants, supermarkets, are close with walkable distances. Would stay again.

Rooms are clean. Breakfast is nice. Beer available in restaurant.

Perfect survive ot perfect place in Velbert.

Very nice place for sleeping. I heartily recommend.

The rooms are small and there is no escalator in the building. I have stayed one time here, probably not preferred for next visit.

Stayed here for a few nights on a works trip, couldn’t be happier with the room, hotel so very clean and well looked after, very quiet. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Loved that if you decide not to have your room cleaned for the environment, you receive a free drink. Would highly recommend.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever been to. Its very clean, very comfortable and my overall experience is great! The room is being cleaned every day and tea/coffee is restocked. They leave little presents 😍 who doesn’t love presents?! Also the staff is great and they speak excellent english ☺️ I have been there two times, but if I have to come to Velbert again, it will definitely be three!

We really enjoyed our stay at Stüttgens hotel in Velbert, especially the personal, individual approach. Very nice renovated building in a historic complex. Still very central location. Even the small rooms are really well divided, you don't miss anything. The breakfast was also very good.

100% recommend The best ever hotel equipped for people with disabilities, especially wheelchairs. Centrally located. Restaurants, cafes and shops all within walking distance.

Entrance of hotel was difficult to find.

Very comfy stay The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate your requests. It was a little inconvenient that the front desk had limited operation hours and that there were limited dining options in the neighborhood (no food delivery available via Uber Eats either), but still the friendly service overtakes these little inconveniences. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Great hotel just near the downtown of Heiligenhaus. Fantastic breakfest in the facility with dining and kitchen connected, which makes it a very cozy and homey feeling. Very nice stay. Nice hotel stay for a night. Big rooms, little dated. Could hear some traffic from Road but good location and easy walking distance to old town kettwig, the river and the station to take you into Essen. Breakfast had a good selection and hotel staff were very nice and helpful.

A very pleasant experience for an overnight stay in Kettwig. A great place to dine with generous portions . The breakfast was very good witt a real friendly and attentive service. The rooms were fine ( maybe the bed a bit low ) All in all a perfect place to stay.

The restaurant is just superb, the food is increadible and the service wonderful. The hotel rooms are large and the shower is very good. The location is beutiful. Highly reccommended.

The restaurant is truly phenomenal and one of the best I've dined at in North Rhine-Westphalia! Our server took our allergies very serious and recommended meals and wine pairings. Highly recommend especially for gluten or dairy allergies!

Great place to stay Wonderful apartment, with plenty of space for my family. The decoration is gorgeous, the kitchen and bathrooms are super comfortable and the location was great for our trip.

All good, apart from no direct phone communication and difficult to locate flat number. No Flat number is mentioned on the Ground floor flat.Received many emails instructions which confused, best is simple to send Key box code number and Nuki code number .

We were very surprised by the superb design of the facility. We would book again at any time and hope that the owners will ensure that all guests treat the facility with care.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay in Hotel Alberga. Everything from check-in to check-out was excellent. Our room was large with desk and chairs for work. The shower was the best we've ever had - great pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent with great choice of cereal, fruit, cheese and freshly cooked eggs. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The welcome was professional and helpful. Very clean and spacious room which I could easily darken with blinds during the summer night. The location is really far away. It takes more than 30 minutes to drive to Dusseldorf and more than an hour to drive back during the morning rush hour. The parking lot under the hotel is 12.5 euros per night. The facilities are quite old, but fortunately they are relatively clean and there is plenty of hot water for bathing.

Great Hotel, great restaurant. The waiter really makes every evening special, an excellent host. Nice rooms, dog friendly, great for children. A lot of room to play around or to play in the pool..The staff goes beyond what you may expect to give you a great time. We will be back for a third time real soon:)

Very clean rooms. But unfortunately the climate in the hotel room was very poor. It was hot and humid. Also, in my opinion the pillows were too large and too small. Furthermore, the hotel itself and its facilities were outdated. Therefore, I would not recommend this hotel.

Everyone at the hotel was helpful and able to answer any questions we had. There was always someone available. Thank you for a delightful stay! Also, the food was delicious!

The room was always clean and the breakfast was very good coupled up with a professional workers. The hotel is centrally situated with easy connections to the railway station and other important places. I would always recommend this hotel to other people.

Since my train connection was cancelled again, I had to spend a night in Wuppertal. The young man at reception was extremely friendly, and the room is very clean and perfectly adequate for one person. There's free coffee for guests in the lobby and a drinks menu with various cold beverages, as well as breakfast, which can be booked separately. The rooms were comfortable but slightly dirty. There was hair sticking to the bathroom wall and the floor wasn’t clean. The staff was nice but nothing special. Breakfast was good

We were going to the euros and saw this hotel for £100 per night. In places like cologne they were charging near £300. Right away the price of this place was good.
