Females beware of Peter the owner. He was very aggressive and a bully. Tried to inflate the bill and add on breakfasts that we hadn’t had. Was very nasty obviously not a nice man. A bottle of perfume went missing from our room. The back of the property was like a builders yard … and had been for a while. Velbert lovely and qaint but bad hotel.

Very good check-in, courteous, very friendly service, great ambience and tailored to the character of the house down to the last detail, good tips for tourist activities, thanks to the hosts and their staff!

The hotel location in the centre of town is excellent for exploring the cobbled streets and lanes of this historical area. Our stay in the middle of winter found the area to be very quiet but great for getting about and seeing the place.
The Hotel itself was very clean and tidy with helpfull staff if required. The breakfasts were very good with a buffet service and a serving of eggs on the side how you like them? (Me, scrambled eggs with salmon). Parking was very convenient around the back as long as you initially notice the tight access to get in on the side of the Hotel.
We would defenitely stay again in the future.

The service is very friendly and the breakfast was very good. It is plentiful, the breakfast buffet. The parking lot is small, but I've always had a spot. The hotel owner is also very friendly.

Das Zimmer war großzügig und sehr sauber, sehr gut gut gelegen, ausgewogenes Frühstück. Gute Lage mitten in Langenberg. Getränke im Haus sehr günstig, werden das Haus weiterempfehlen. Busanbindung um das Umfeld zu erkunden sind gut. Preis und Leistung sehr gut.
