Hotel is clean and rooms are nice and big. Service is so so and there are not many amenities available at all. For a place to sleep it's ok but not for more than a couple of nights.

Great views of village. Check in is available only from 13:00 so plan for that. Friendly staff, clean lobby and rooms.

My mom payed (accidentally) extra and they did not even give a water bottle as complementary and the carparking fee was 6€ per night while Booking.com said that it was free! The breakfast is not so vegetarian friendly and there is nothing for vegans!

Hotel services and facilities are acceptable and foods are ok. This hotel is seem to be large within that district and prices are reasonable.

The room is very good and cost-effective. You can see the scenery of the whole town from the hotel. It is very beautiful and has a great location. It is the best hotel in the city of gems and I will stay there next time.

The hotel is clean but looks old. The beds are in good condition but the pillows are very uncomfortable.

We went there with the whole family for Christmas and it was really good. The workers were nice and the food came relatively fast for the amount of people that we were. Nice hotel to stay, especially with the stones and roomnames, what comes back at breakfast etc. Very nice friendly employees, nice clean modern rooms, quiet. Restaurant is simple but good, few choices to order but good. surroudning and to explore Idar-Oberstein this is a nice option if you don't want to stay in the centre. Business good to work relaxed as we did.

It was a very nice experience staying at the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and the price are also fair. The hotel rooms are pretty clean and the location is amazing if you like to do more of walking or hiking. It was a bit private place, not much noise from outside. Just pure Nature. I stayed at the hotel for one night. First of all, to access the parking lot, you have to turn left on the one-way street before the hotel, and then you'll reach the parking lot. This is my 2nd stay at this boutique hotel.  The owner communicates well in English.  The owner’s family is very helpful whenever I have questions..  The room is extremely clean and well maintained.  Makes my  travel comfortable and memorable.  Breakfast is aways a delightful start of the day.

Absolutely 5/5 rating for these guys. Very awesome to work with. Really great place and great service. They are on a main drag of town which is nice for getting into the freeway quick but also traffic starts early and if you have your windows open you’ll hear em. Perfect walking distance to some nice restaurants. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay there again. Highly recommend.

We loved this hotel, we have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world but this one is our favorite. The room was warm, they provided an array of teas and instant cappuccinos. The building is older and in need of some updating, but still charming and located right in the middle of the old city, just across from the German National Mineral Museum. Room was of a good size and very clean and tidy. Tea and coffee making facilities were included in the room. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant served excellent food.

We stayed here so we would be close to visit the Church in the Rock. Unfortunately the church was under renovation and we could not visit inside.
