La maison is a beautifully designed hotel with warm hospitality. We were really amazed by the interior design and the great atmosphere. With a fine dining restaurant (2 Michelin stars), a high quality bistro and a wonderful bar with fine drinks and bites, it's culinary heaven. We also enjoyed the rest and beauty in the lovely wellness with garden.

The hotel is gorgeous in every tiny detail. The design choices are spectacular and every area is well curated including the corridors and the landings. Service was great and breakfast divine. I didn’t get to see the spa that is said to be mind blowing. Parking and electric charge were just perfect

You need to leave the window open in summer as there is no AC, and the hotel's surroundings were a bit noisy at night (drunkards chatting and laughing loud until 3am in the nearby parking lot near the railway station). If you have a van or a large car you will park in the Aldi supermarket parking behind the hotel...

Very nice Cute hotel in the heart of Saarlouis. We got a free upgrade to a very nice and specious room. Beds are super comfortable, quiet. Will use this hotel again!

Great deal, but just know you’re getting a dated room without AC.

The hotel is in an excellent position within the town. The staff were very pleasant. The only downside was that the radiators in the bedroom and bathroom both needed bleeding but by the time we discovered this the reception was closed (18.00). The bed was a little hard for our liking.

Very nice and cosy little hotel in the center of Saarlouis - good breakfast and very friendly staff.

Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and good breakfast where you have a nice selection at the buffet and can also order freshly made eggs and other items. Most of the rooms face the market square, so it can be a little noisy even at night. Some parking is available right behind the hotel which is convenient, as it's right in the middle of town.

The reception staff Julian at night team was so nice, he tried hard to help me to find an adapter or charger, although the charger wasn’t working at all but still, I could feel the staff is quite care about the guest. A perfect modern hotel for an overnight stay, right next to the highway. There's no restaurant for dinner, but there is one nearby, or across the road, at the Brauhaus, which primarily serves pub food and features home-brewed beer. A great breakfast buffet at the hotel.

For an overnight stop, it is clean, tidy, practical, well located and near good food amenities. Ok place, you get what you pay for it's not fantastic but it definitely isn't terrible! good value for money and great if you're on a budget

Nice and cosy hotel. Yes it smells a bit cigarette in the corridor but an hotel cannot be responsible for having piggy clients. The guy at the reception is just old but he smiled at me like my old grandpa used to even if I can barely speak German.

Room are clean and comfortable. Only downside I saw was that while showering water would flush down very slowly so I was always standing in water but that is only a small problem.

This was my first time staying at a hotel like this, and I was pleasantly surprised. Great value for money.

Surprisingly good overall! They offer free luggage storage, and the room, though small, had everything we needed. The keyless entry with a passcode was a nice touch, so we didn't have to worry about losing a key. A really pleasant experience all around.

If you're planning for a solo travel, B&B hotels are you best option, honestly I liked how clean the room are, and the self service tools make the experience much easier.

The hotel is in a residential area and relatively quiet. The room was small but very clean. Parking is in a public parking lot, very close to the hotel. The only small drawback is that there is no air conditioning, so I don't have a permanent stay.

Conevnient location for a quick stay or passing by Saarbrücken. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. There is a parking lot outside for those coming by car. It was good value for money. I would stay again there if I would be around.

Second time staying here and I really like this hotel. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms and friendly polite staff. Location is also great, within 5 mins from the main station and 1 minute to the Main Street. Starbucks, REWE, Europa Gallerie mall with many food options within 1 minute. We spent one night at this hotel. It's ideally located for exploring the city center on foot. The hotel has covered parking for €18 per day. Spaces are limited, but there's no need to reserve. The room was comfortable and clean. The continental buffet breakfast was perfectly adequate.

I've been staying at Mercure Hotel Saarbrucken City multiple times for business. The hotel has the right balance of clean and cosy. The reception, the hotel and the rooms has interior design that's not too posh, modern or cold (souless). Instead, it just hit the sweetspot of being able to feel like home. I'm always looking forward to my stay.

Overall nice hotel with large rooms and good breakfast. Parking is small in front of the hotel. But the bar and restaurant do not work on Sundays and restaurant also on Saturdays which is odd

This hotel is very conveniently located close to the main station. Also on the main street with lots of shops and restaurants. The host was very courteous and very welcoming. My room was a small studio but partitioned, bedroom and living room space. Breakfast is included in the room price, unlike most hotels in Germany, which was nice. Our festival team comes every year to Saarbrücken for the Max Ophüls Preis and always stays at Hotel Stadt Hamburg. The thing that lets this hotel down is the instructions to drive to it which have not improved since the last review 10 years ago. Google does not work and the Hôtel instructions do not start early enough. We drove round and round and had to park and walk on foot. Then the lift to the underground carpark didn’t work. Decent hotel outside Saarbrücken, it's a bit older, but still pretty nice. The breakfast was quite good, lots to choose from! Getting to downtown Saarbrücken was also not too bad, takes about 10 minutes, but finding parking is another challenge

Staff and service are good. There is free parking nearby. Unfortunately, the TV is not a smart one without YouTube, Netflix, etc. From 6:30 a.m. it is loud on the ground floor and you don't need an alarm clock.

Nice hotel built in the 80s with elegant lobby. Unfortunately, it was built before regulations for barrier free accessibility came to place and wouldn’t really be usable by anyone in a wheelchair. There is a flight of stairs to get from the street to the reception and there are steps in the dining area.

Stayed here for one night while visiting friends in the area. Me and another 5 friends stayed there on April 4 2012. What can I say, it shows a 2 star hotel at the entrance but let me tell you, I have been many places and usually a 2 star is a 2 star, but for this one in particular the stars do not make justice! It is impeccable, looks and must be new, it is extremely clean and modern throughout, starting from the rooms and all the way down to the dining area...

It was hard to make sure I was at the correct location because the Hotel sign is just a poster on the store front window. Once inside, the staff was helpful, and the room was very nice and comfortable. The location is very walkable to the main square and events I attended.

This hotel is an unexpected gem. The entry level "cosy room" category we booked was a delight; high ceilings, beautiful light, flawless design (they designed and made their own shower tiles) and immaculate house keeping. The hotel is in a great location. In the city center, it is very convenient to eat and travel. The prices at nearby bakeries and print shops are reasonable. The hotel does not have a front desk, so check in with a password. very good.

The room was clean and tidy, very close to the city center, a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and a Thai restaurant across the street. To go to the supermarket, turn left and go straight, through the pedestrian area to the Karstadt Shopping Center. There is an Aldi supermarket on the ground floor. The only bad thing is that there is loud music after 6 o'clock in the evening until after 9 o'clock...

Mini kitchen with cutlery and crockery, fridge, sofa, towels in the bathroom etc. Also right next to a tonne of bars and restaurants! I was attending an event at the university and it was perfect, the bus is only 5 minutes away. I definitely recommend this place if you're on a budget or just feel like having an apartment...

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, especially the decor of the room and the stencils. It was quaint. Be prepared you will need to have standard electrical chargers as there are no ports for USB or USC charging stations. Otherwise its a convenient and easy hotel to stay, the desk staff spoke excellent English, very helpful.

Stayed here in July 2018 for 10 nights. I booked the single room with shared bathroom but was upgraded to the single room + personal bathroom. I arrived late to Saarbrücken so by the time I arrive the hotel (8.00pm), the reception was closed. Pedestrians helped to call using the German instruction on the door so I could access my key. During my stay at this hotel, I experienced a very shocking and concerning incident: a stranger was able to enter my room directly. I immediately reported this issue to the hotel staff. They told me that there are cameras in the hallway and said they would look into the matter. However, three working days have passed and I have received no response or explanation at all.This raises serious concerns...

The room was okay, but the bed was a bit narrow. Overall, it was quite clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were separated into wet and dry areas, and there was also a dedicated sink for washing hands.

Some floors of the hotel were undergoing renovations, so they offered a special deal. The room and bed were good. There was some noise from the street.

It's a good place to walk to the stadium. Transportation is convenient, with the light rail and bus station just outside.

It's small, but clean. The location is very convenient, just opposite the stadium, with a tram stop downstairs, and there are supermarkets and McDonald's nearby. However, the sound insulation is really average.

We wanted a quieter stop and found Anita and Tony just outside Saarbrucken perfect- we slept well, were able to eat dinner and breakfast before moving on.
