Hotel Kleiner Markt in Saarlouis

Friendly service, but could be more professional in the booking process. I had to contacted the hotel several times even though I was promised to be called back, and promised booking of another room because of a clerical error on the part of the hotel were not conducted until I spoke to different staff members.

We loved the hotel. It has a very good price/quality rate. Good location in the middle of the city centre, with shops, restaurants, terraces, all around. It is a short bicycle trip from the SaarRadweg, about 2 km I think. Bicycles can be stored in a safe place at the first floor. We got help to bring the bicycles up and down. So, kindly people working there. Cosy room (we booked a bigger room), super clean. Welcome drink, you can choose from a refrigerator. Free water, tea, coffee and even fine chocolates during the day. Lovely terrace with view at the Kleiner Markt and where you can eat the yummie breakfast. You have the choice between 2 options for the breakfast, sweet or savory. You get a wooden shelf with a lot of good things, nice decorated, accompanied with all the necessary drinks, a basket of bread and even extra fruit when asking. Should go back to the hotel, just for the breakfast... Thanks for the good stay!

1. The staff are very nice and helpful 2. Location is outstanding, right in the town centre. Everything is accessible within walking distance 3. Guests can come to the reception cum dining area and get free coffee, beer, water... 4. There is balcony outside overlooking the town square, and you can relax and watch the world go by 5. There is a inter city bus station just next to the hotel, in case you need to go to luxembourg or nearby places 6. Train station is about 2km 7. The breakfast is excellent in case you want to eat in the hotel. Though there are many cafes right outside as well. 8. All shops like H&M and C&A are right outside the hotel. 9. Bathrooms and toilets are clean and well provided. 10. You feel safe and well cared for in the hotel. Some things which can be improved: 1. Better wifi in the rooms 2. Glasses, cups in the room 3. A hot water kettle to make our own coffee 4. Cooler for the summers, especially the top floor gets very hot 5. The pillows are very soft and do not give good support for sleeping. There is no lift, and taking heavy luggage to the higher Floors is difficult. But it's an old building and I doubt this can be changed. Overall the hotel is excellent to stay in Saarlouis.

Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and good breakfast where you have a nice selection at the buffet and can also order freshly made eggs and other items. Most of the rooms face the market square, so it can be a little noisy even at night. Some parking is available right behind the hotel which is convenient, as it's right in the middle of town.

Very nice and cosy little hotel in the center of Saarlouis - good breakfast and very friendly staff.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean room. Nice view on the Xmas market from the breakfast restaurant. I don’t put 5 stars because I find it a bit expensive, but it seems that all the hotels around Saarlouis are also expensive. I had better hotels in bigger cities for a lower price.
