The location is so nice and peaceful looking out onto the forest and walking distance to Oybin and to the Kelchsteine. The included breakfast has a great variety. The staff are super friendly. The room is comfy and quiet.

Yes! Good value for money! Simple, clean, somewhat worn rooms with no elevator or refrigerator, but a proper wardrobe and two chairs. Easily accessible by two- or four-wheeler, within walking distance of town. Rustic meat-based cuisine, but vegetarians are very well catered for with a "request concert." SUPER for little money!

Very well run and respectable Hotel. Our room was clean, but very small, which is due to the fact that can look back on 300 years of Tradition. The wet cell is not small, unfortunately. What a gem in Zittau! Nice comfortable rooms in a modernized old building within old town of Zittau. Breakfast was really generous and fresh and was served in a cozy and bright room. We would definitely come again.

Rooms looked nice but in every corner were spider's webs. I counted 5 spiders - 2 of them were walking on bed (on different days). I hate spiders, so it was terrible for me and I couldn't sleep. As a large group of Germans and foreigners, the restaurant was very accommodating and polite in providing excellent service and enough space. We enjoyed our food and drinks very much! I highly recommend stopping here.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner greeted us when we arrived and gave us the best room on the third floor overlooking the water. Some people commented that the stairs were an issue, but they do have an elevator. You just need to ask. We sat in the dining area and had wonderful beer. great hidden gem in gorlitz, on a weir on the river with a lovely dining area outside, well appointed rooms and good breakfats, off road parking and cycle parking, will definately use again and have no hesitation recommending, upon arrival the waitress wrote out the entire menu into English by hand in order to be helpful, that really is going above and bbeyond great service

This is an exceptional hotel. One of best I've stayed in! The staff could not have been better. One young lady even translated the menu by hand onto paper for us!! Amazing!!
