Stayed here for just the one night while hiking, it’s a lovely place, great food and lovely staff. Would give a 6 start review is that was possible!

A hidden gem! Pension Abendröte is run with great care and attention to detail. Our room in the annex was very clean and comfortably furnished. We felt right at home.
The truly first-class food in the small, attached restaurant deserves special mention. The staff are very attentive and friendly.
The breakfast buffet was always beautifully presented.
And all of this came at a very fair price.
Thank you so much, and we'd love to come back again.

Slept wonderfully 👍, had a delicious breakfast, and enjoyed a lovely chat with the expectant mother at reception. Thank you, it was great staying with you again – best regards to the boss, your guests from Harzgerode, and Hercules felt very comfortable too 🐾

The Café & Restaurant Abendröte in Oybin am Hain in the Zittau Mountains is a real hidden gem, I'd say 😋 It has a lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and very good food. We tried several dishes from the menu and they were all delicious 👍🙂 We were there for Valentine's Day from 6 pm 🕕 and the small restaurant gradually filled up, but there was no sign of any stress 😉 The menu was extensive, and yet we still had a hard time deciding. Thank you for a wonderful and enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back 🙋♂️😊

We were only here to eat and this was a very pleasant surprise!
The map was small and very clear! Which is absolutely not a disadvantage because you are not directly overwhelmed with a variety of dishes.
The food that is offered is super fresh and tastes a dream! (Of course could have been more as good as it was)
Service was also very friendly.
So if you are looking for a good place to eat in the area, this is definitely the right place! 👍

The location is so nice and peaceful looking out onto the forest and walking distance to Oybin and to the Kelchsteine. The included breakfast has a great variety. The staff are super friendly. The room is comfy and quiet.

Even though I was only able to stay one night, I can already say that I will be happy to come back. Not only because of the friendly welcome by the boss and his nice staff, but above all because of the many opportunities for hiking and because of the meals, which were/are extremely tasty. All dishes at the breakfast buffet and for dinner were extremely fresh and tastefully prepared with love. Many Thanks.

It was overwhelming from the start, the friendliness of the host to his staff.
The ambience invites you to linger, everything newly designed, just to feel good.
The food, a treat, every single meal was perfect and beautifully presented on the plate.
We would like to thank the Abendröte again for the perfect dinner.
We would love to come back and recommend your house to everyone.

Spent a week walking holiday here.
Were received very warmly.
Very nice atmosphere, very friendly team where the boss is still with the guest himself.
Very good food.
The location is great, you can start walking right from the front door and give the car a week's rest.
