Where to stay in Zwickau

Nice and clean, great restaurant but not much around to see/do

Clean hotel, restaurant and bar in the lobby Rooms rather old. But big and clean Not city centre, but easy to reach with car, there is some parking space available in front. Shops and stores close by. Satisfied as a business traveller, spending 1 night

Rooms are big and clean, Beds are comfortable not too soft. Breakfast is not bad, the pre boiled eggs could be replaced by something other. 7 minutes hard boiled eggs are not really something to enjoy. Coffee is nicely strong.

Great hotel bot to stop for 1 night on the way or stay for fe days and visit attractions nearby. Very rich selection at breakfast. Close to old town. Godd value for money

This very pleasant establishment had very friendly and chatty staff, From the chap at Reception who checked me in on Good Friday evening to Waiter Jonas I was always thoroughly engaged socially. My room was very pleasant and well equipped. Thanks Holiday Inn you contributed to my delightful Easter 2017.

This is probably the nicest Holiday inn I've stayed at. Well appointed rooms, and lovely location.

Quiet accommodation, cheap parking, old-fashioned feel, but clean, simple breakfast

Perfect rooms, lots of choices for breakfast and they even have a greek restaurant in their structure. One of the best choices if you are around Zwickau.

Location a little far from the city, but there have bus every 30 mins. Bus stop just outside of the hotel.

The hotel is nice, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. However, the breakfast is quite basic, with no fresh fruits available. It could definitely be improved with more variety. Overall, a good stay, but the breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Great Hotel at the southern end of Zwickau. Good value for money. Rooms with decent size, unfortunately without A/C. Eager service team. Good Greek Mediterranean styled Restaurant. But one thing to consider for the management: if you place large “No smoking in this area” warnings in German & English next to the main entrance area, why then placing large ashtrays right underneath the signs? Quiet, dated hotel that could use a refresh. We didn't eat there, I think because of the due to the low occupancy the kitchen was closed. We saw not even one other guest during our 2-night stay, only one helpful gentleman at reception when we arrived and departed. Our room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The decor is from the mid-80s which isn't necessarily a negative point...

On business on March 3, 2026, I stayed overnight with breakfast. Check-in was convenient via a key safe; everything went smoothly online. Finally, a spacious hotel room (even with an (empty) minibar for me to stock myself). Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. The scrambled eggs were freshly made especially for me and were some of the best I've ever had. 5/5 I would stay again

I stayed here whilst on business in Zickau. The staff here are all friendly. The check in and out was quick and efficient. The room was clean and there was plenty of options for breakfast. The location is just a few minutes walk from the main restaurant area and also the park.
