EHG Elbe Hotel Geestacht in Geesthacht

We booked a triple room with breakfast. Three days beforehand, we even called to ask when breakfast would be served. Upon arrival, we were told that breakfast was suddenly unavailable. We suspect that they don't offer breakfast at all, but they're just saying that and then making up strange excuses. The rooms also don't look like they do in the pictures. When you get to the reception area downstairs, there's a strong smell of cigarette smoke. We had a room right at the front, and the cigarette smoke drifted in. A definite no-go for non-smokers. The room was very, very cold. The heaters were on, but the room didn't get warm. The room and bathroom were outdated and run-down.

The only good thing was the beds.

But we won't be coming back.
