Had a great long weekend at A-ROSA Sylt. The spa facilities are excellent and perfect for relaxing after a walk by the wild Nordsee. The sea view from the room was beautiful, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. A really pleasant stay overall.

Spa, outdoor pool and restaurant facilities were amazing. Also how quiet it was, in spite of that fact that we had a suite facing the land side of the property, was really good. Bed and mattresses were clean and comfortable. Thelayout of the suite with a full-size adjacent room with a sleep couch for our daughter was just great.

Perhaps it was because we had just stayed at Budersand Hotel and had an exceptional time, but we were completely disappointed with our stay here. I am genuinely shocked this hotel has a five star rating as it feels more like a Marriot or Hilton. The hotel is showing its age; the rooms are very spacious, but cleanliness isn't great. The mirrors in the room and bathroom are mediocre, and the shower is very limescaled. As for the amenities, everything is excellent. The swimming pool is a good size, but the sauna is very small for the size of the hotel. Cleanliness in the sauna could be improved. Breakfast is quite alright.

Overall great hotel for a fun getaway The hotel was incredible amenities and staff are very nice, rooms are spacious, breakfast has great variety. Temperature control in room is lacking, only heating available, would be too warm in summer and no screens on windows to leave them open in the evening.

As we did some visits it was strategic in the right place. Other then that - fire alarm during the night, not working safe in the room - there are better hotels in Lübeck.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, even though the furniture is quite dated. And having to peel and slice my own green cucumber at the breakfast buffet was rather amusing. Friendly staff, very good service, breakfast was okay.

Great location, but it’s hard to get good employees. They didn’t let me get in before 3pm and they fail to Book halbe Pension (breakfast and dinner) for the day after, so I was thrown out of the restaurant when I wanted to have dinner. this hotel does not have AC so summer nights are hot and sensitive people can't sleep. our room faced the inside area where many birds are constantly active - so it's loud. and because we had to open the window due to heat, we could not sleep due to the noise. breakfast was ok, but not special. very large hotel and very busy

Great hotel but major disappointment with the room. No A/C and windows locked from opening. It was very warm, not good for a hotel in this calibre. Otherwise all ok!

The hotel offers free access to the water park, which is great for kids. The rooms are a bit small and not very spacious. There's a diving facility nearby, but it's only open Wednesday through Sunday. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for a family vacation.

Unfortunately, the selection at the evening buffet is not satisfactory. Few German-speaking staff at reception. Few garage parking spaces, no charging option directly at the hotel.

We really enjoyed the hotel. I was in Grömitz with two friends for a few relaxing days. The service in the hotel was very pleasant, the breakfast buffet and the coffee and cake in the afternoon were very plentiful.

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre. Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... The service rather unfriendly..

We had a wonderful time at SAND in Timmendorfer Strand. It is a stylish and cozy hotel very close to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks super delicious and the rooms nice and clean. We will definitely return to this place!

The property is just a short 5-10 min walk from the main tourist areas which offers such a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by lots green and open space. Great value for money place, with a nice fragrant sauna and delicious breakfast spread every morning. Rooms are clean and well furnished. It’s a place with a lot of personality. At night the area below can get a bit loud with music and the crowd, so it wouldn’t be a good place to work then, but it’s a great place to just chill.

Clean rooms, good shower, hotel right on the beach. No aircondition but we were lucky that it was cool in the night so we could open the windows. Breakfast is to die for! A chef making your omelet the way you like it in front of you.

For anyone seeking peace, quiet, and relaxation, this would be the perfect place. It's pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. We've been here twice now, and will be back again as soon as we can.

You can park underground at the hotel, there is also a hallway that connects the hotel (from the spa area) to the neighbouring Meetzeit sauna and you get in for free with your hotel key card.

We choose this hotel because of it's spa services and that it was directly on the beach. The reception area is light and modern. The staff are friendly but speak mainly German but do their best to speak English. The rooms are big enough and are clean and light. The beds are very comfortable. The spa facilities are very good and very welcoming after a long and cold walk on the beach.

Great Experience I liked the place. They take their business really serious. A bit old fashioned and that makes the charm of this hotel. When I arrived on a late Sunday afternoon, the manager on duty insisted to personally show me around and to explain all the features of the hotel to me. I stayed for three days and had a great time. The restaurant is a bit pricey but offers excellent food.

It was perfect except there was no AC.

No coffee in the room. No shampoo or conditioner. No complimentary water. Breakfast was good but—Very expensive breakfast at 25 euros.

The bathroom shower was not safe! The shower head was very high on a very high ceiling. Hence water went everywhere. But the worst was the fact that the shower floor was extremely slippery. Thankfully we did not fall!!!!

Excellent breakfast. The hotel is very quietly located within walking distance of the coast and the village. It is a large domain; Since we were there outside the high season, there were no big crowds. Upon arrival, the person at the reception seemed to only speak German, so we received very little explanation.

Well. It is a great place close to the Boat ferry over to Denmark. Good restaurants nearby. Breakfast fine. It was built 2018. So it is very new and fresh. A bit different as there is 7 two storeys houses with or without balconies. A good place.
