Spa-Hotels in Schleswig-Holstein

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, even though the furniture is quite dated. And having to peel and slice my own green cucumber at the breakfast buffet was rather amusing. Friendly staff, very good service, breakfast was okay.

Great hotel with the most friendly staff!

Great location, but it’s hard to get good employees. They didn’t let me get in before 3pm and they fail to Book halbe Pension (breakfast and dinner) for the day after, so I was thrown out of the restaurant when I wanted to have dinner. Terrible experience. If the CEO would only know how bad the service is!…

2 nights for Lübeck Xmas market, very good overall. The personal was absolute top class in service and friendliness. Too low capacity in elevators makes it troublesome during high demand

Familiensuite Zimmer💗😍 A huge thanks to @maritimseehotel. Thank you for the friendly and generous welcome we had! It was a great start to a lovely stay with kindness and warm hospitality throughout, and omg the food and the cocktails. It was an amazing experience especially my children to stay with you. You made us feel right at home. Bye for now. Until next time💗😍💕🥰

It was a nice room with nice view, I enjoyed it to the most

this hotel does not have AC so summer nights are hot and sensitive people can't sleep. our room faced the inside area where many birds are constantly active - so it's loud. and because we had to open the window due to heat, we could not sleep due to the noise. breakfast was ok, but not special. very large hotel and very busy

Great hotel but major disappointment with the room. No A/C and windows locked from opening. It was very warm, not good for a hotel in this calibre. Otherwise all ok!

The hotel offers free access to the water park, which is great for kids. The rooms are a bit small and not very spacious. There's a diving facility nearby, but it's only open Wednesday through Sunday. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for a family vacation.

We were lucky the weather was so good we used the rooms only to shower and sleep

Unfortunately, the selection at the evening buffet is not satisfactory. Few German-speaking staff at reception. Few garage parking spaces, no charging option directly at the hotel.

We really enjoyed the hotel. I was in Grömitz with two friends for a few relaxing days. The service in the hotel was very pleasant, the breakfast buffet and the coffee and cake in the afternoon were very plentiful.

Had a great long weekend at A-ROSA Sylt. The spa facilities are excellent and perfect for relaxing after a walk by the wild Nordsee. The sea view from the room was beautiful, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. A really pleasant stay overall.

High end spa hotell and resort.

Great location among dunes, best breakfast buffet/breakfast-staff, selection of different sauna experiences. Must upgrade menu and selection in lobby/room/pool Must improve service level and rules for children as well as dangerous slippery floor

Family weekend to this nice spa hotel. We needed a nice break for the weekend with our 3 years old son where we all could relax and this was a absolutely right place for us! The spa area is big and our son could have fun there without disturbing any other guest, we enjoy lots of saunas with nice treatments for the body. The breakfast and the dinner was very delicious, not to big but with great and...

Spa, outdoor pool and restaurant facilities were amazing. Also how quiet it was, in spite of that fact that we had a suite facing the land side of the property, was really good. Bed and mattresses were clean and comfortable. Thelayout of the suite with a full-size adjacent room with a sleep couch for our daughter was just great.

Perhaps it was because we had just stayed at Budersand Hotel and had an exceptional time, but we were completely disappointed with our stay here. I am genuinely shocked this hotel has a five star rating as it feels more like a Marriot or Hilton. The check in process was underwhelming and they charge for parking, which I'm not sure why, but it feels a bit cheap to add a parking charge at check in, you...

The hotel is showing its age; the rooms are very spacious, but cleanliness isn't great. The mirrors in the room and bathroom are mediocre, and the shower is very limescaled. As for the amenities, everything is excellent. The swimming pool is a good size, but the sauna is very small for the size of the hotel. Cleanliness in the sauna could be improved. Breakfast is quite alright.

Always a pleasure, it invites you to relax and unwind, or to do lots of sports, great breakfast including sparkling wine, and perfect service.

Had a really nice stay here and perfect for families with great facilities. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Only drama are the lifts and check out is a mess. But we will learn for next time.

Luxurios hotel with exellent service and facilliti A beautiful and luxurious hotel that truly lives up to expectations. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are stunning and well-maintained. The hotel offers a varied and modern selection of fitness and activity options, perfect for both relaxation and a more active stay. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection and high quality. On top of that...

A nice hotel and a wonderful breakfast A nice hotel with pool and sauna among many nice things to do. Wonderful breakfast. Complicated check-in procedure if you have a car.

Overall great hotel for a fun getaway The hotel was incredible amenities and staff are very nice, rooms are spacious, breakfast has great variety. Temperature control in room is lacking, only heating available, would be too warm in summer and no screens on windows to leave them open in the evening.

Good location, nice spa/pool. Friendly staff

A very family-friendly hotel with a well-maintained sauna and swimming pool. Great view of the Rantum Basin and attentive service. Would gladly return.

The pool area is great, especially in bad weather. The breakfast is delicious. Nice for walking and exploring.

The room decor is old and needs updating, the furniture was hard and uncomfortable. The swimming pool photos looked luxurious but reality more like public swimming pool, the indoor hot tub was lukewarm. At check out (10am) there was a long queue and only 1 employee on duty, we waited 25 mins only to hand the keys and bath cards over (had asked if we needed to queue and was told yes, but in fact not...

Nice hotel perfect for a family Sylt holiday. Nice hotel situated close to an amazing beach. Relaxing environment. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Perfect base for exploring the rest of the island.

Very nice hotel with rather large, we'll equipped apartments. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing beach close by (just a short walk). The breakfast buffet was great. All in all a perfect base for exploring the island of Sylt.

Good setup but for the first day of my stay, the floor in the room hasn't been cleaned.prior to my check'in.

Very close to the old town. Hotel is very dated and the room has a musky smell. Not worth the price paid .

Very good location, 1.7km from city center, easily walkable from city center...car parking around hotel is free... also bus stop is just opposite hotel..

clean room friendly staff very nice stay

Very close to Luebeck centre, easy and pleasant walk across the bridge at Burgtor...

As we did some visits it was strategic in the right place. Other then that - fire alarm during the night, not working safe in the room - there are better hotels in Lübeck.

Excellent location, right on the beach. Yet plenty of other restaurants and shops in walking distance. Lovely, bright, spacious rooms with great views. The lobby has cosy seating for afternoon tea. Breakfast was a real highlight; served in a restaurant with massive windows, a big patio and great selection of food. We sat and chatted for hours! There is an indoor pool, plenty loungers, sauna and treatment...

Excellent service, pool, fitness area, room with balcony and spectacular view over the bay. Breakfast was superb. In a hotel with three or more stars, I would expect tea and coffee making facilities as standard equipment. A coffee machine was provided only on request.

Great view! Super Breakfast, nice pools!

Fantastic location and service. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the spa & pool area is very nice

A nice coffee and cake! I enjoyed my time in timmendorfer strand

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and it remains one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, but the rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people.

Nice room, clean and very quiet. Staff was very helpful and excellent service during breakfast.

Great location for exploring the city and xmas markets

The hotel is perfectly situated in the aldstat area. Close to museums, churches and restaurants. St. Petri church is next door - take the lift to the observation deck to see a beautiful 360 degree view.

We liked the hotel so much we extended our stay. The staff were amazing. We felt valued as guests and would happily return to the hotel. The room was well appointed. Comfy bed, air conditioning and mini bar.

We paid extra to have a purported suite with city view that turned out to be facing another apartment building with no view. The room description was very misleading.

Best hotel we stayed at in Northern Germany. Absolutely the best of all 10 hotels we stayed at during this summer vacation. Nice staff everywhere. Easy parking in tha garage next to the hotel. 50 meters from the town centre. No noise, nice beds and fabulous breakfast

The room was very nice, with a view of the sea. I really enjoyed the wellness on the first day. I went to the restaurant and ate schnitzel, which was also very good.

Really lovely hotel, all of the staff offered great service, the room was a great standard and the view was amazing. Highly recommend upgrading to the deluxe room if you stay.

Great location, unfortunately a hotel in need of renovation with too many flaws: -Rooms: carelessly and haphazardly furnished. Artificial flowers, low-quality materials, fittings partly calcified, partly tarnished. -Spa: Saunas with a great view, but unfortunately completely without charm, not enough loungers, water is served in containers that are far too small and are always empty. Also tastes of...

One star deducted for the lack of WiFi in our room, and the hotel can't be held responsible for the stolen flip-flops in the hotel sauna. Still, it's a shame that something like that spoiled our stay a little. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

simply recommendable all round........

We spent our holiday in Scharbeutz with 4 generations and everyone felt completely at home at Bayside. Unbeatable location, the rooftop bar was amazing, the breakfast was a culinary highlight with a view of the Baltic Sea and the staff was extremely friendly. Thank you for letting us be your guests...

Room was renovated. Very clean and beds were comfy. Room was very spacious, which is a rarity these days. Staff were very helpful and nice. We only stayed a night as we were just passing through but definitely recommend.

Room was more spacious than I had expected, staff at reception and in restaurant was very friendly, food offered for breakfast and dinner was very good with a broad variety. A very convenient parking garage.

Nice hotel , very helpful for everything I needed , very polite , hotel very clean , I would stay again if I came back , thank u

Environment: Pretty good Service: Not bad Facilities: Relatively complete Cleanliness: Acceptable

Greeted by a lovely receptionist who was friendly and welcoming and explained all we needed to know.

Regular stop This was the second time we stayed. Great hotel, very clean. Great restaurant and excellent staff

Facility, service and breakfast were exceptionally good. The only reservations I have are on the check-in and spa time. Checkin is at 1600 which is the latest in the hotels I have been, and spa too. We actually came for the spa and it is pity that on the date of arrival that you cannot use the spa until after you check-in, which is already 1630ish.

Too expensive. The japanese restaurant was very dissapointing

A totally heavenly stay at Das James, everything was more than perfect!

I have visited Das James before, and I have always loved it. This time the temperature at the pool was colder than normal, and it was way to cold to swim outside, which is part of the spa experience. When I went to the ladies sauna, I had to go and ask the staff to turn it on, and wait 20 min till it was ready. At my arrival, the service wasn’t very good, both at the reception and the bar, and this...

Tip top Det er 5.gang vi bor på hotellet og blev heller ikke skuffet denne gang. Der var lidt bøvl med parkeringsanlægget, men det blev håndteret fint af hotellets personale.

5 Stars This hotel is amazing has the best service it has amazing breakfast + amazing hotel rooms I can recommend this hotel to everyone

Very nice hotel with large rooms with balcony located on the promenade in the heart of Travemünde. Excellent breakfast

Very nice hotel with large rooms with balcony located on the promenade in the heart of Travemünde. Excellent breakfast

The first hotel I see with liar and deceiving management. We mistakenly booked 3 rooms instead of 2. Just 30 minutes later we called the hotel to cancel one room. They said ok and you can ask the reception while checking in. Then reception said we need to ask our boss, every time we asked the reception they said our boss come later. As a result they postponed until we checkout the hotel. Then we received...

Top location, great view. The furnishings are a bit dated, especially noticeable in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good.

Very nice hotel, we had a great room. The hotel bar is fantastic and has a great live-pianist who plays beautifully.

A little bit outdated or nostalgic if you like, but rooms are clean and spacious, beds are wide and comfortable. Lot to choose from at the breakfast. Staff is fiendly and bicycles can be stored inside. Great location. Anyways I can not recommend for families with small children due to very low value for money. The rooms would easily fit a family with two small children, but we were forced to book...

Trevlignpersonal, mycket utrymme och god mat

The rooms are a bit outdated, but the pool area is great, and parking is convenient.

God mad, rent og pænt, ikke kun på værelset, men over hele området. Venligt personale

Nice room and great breakfast. Poor wine by the glass choices for a wine producing country.

Amazing service both before, during and and after arrival. Lovely welcoming staff, beautiful room with very comfortable bed. Great buffet breakfast with lots of choice and all delicious. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We booked the presidential suite. It was a very clean, nice and big appartement. Space enough! Big terrace. The building looks very old fashion from the outside but the suite wasn't old fashion at all. You still recieve a real key to open the door!. Parking in front of the hotel is free. Breakfast was ok! The swimmingpool and sauna are very nice and good refreshment after long time driving.

wasnt that good as it should be with a place and price like this. furniture is old- looking brown everyhere, I didn't feel to be in a modern hotel, wrong century. Staff was a 3 there is potential for growth, Service was standard but not a 5-Star-Service as I expected. while having the breakfast, we were still chewing and the waitress took the dirty plate, not only ones.. Due to the kids, we were about...

The staff and service were excellent, and they kindly allowed us to check in one hour earlier than the scheduled time. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, and very varied. The cleanliness and overall atmosphere were outstandingly quiet and relaxing. Great attention was also given to children’s needs, which made the stay very family-friendly. Walking along the coast near the hotel was a wonderful experience...

Service offered by the people (reception, restaurant and rooms) make this a classic pamper experience. A truly clasic 5-star service. The rooms are very clean, dinner was quite tasty and thoughtful (vegetarian), reception ensured a lovely arrival and departure, breakfast was varied and plentiful. It would be great if some of the old decorations are either revived or replaced as some areas need a bit...

As soon as we arrived, our child noticed a small bug on his pillow. Unfortunately, we didn't realize immediately it was a louse, but thought it was a harmless insect. Our child got louses as a souvenir from the hotel. In a 5-star hotel, you wouldn't expect something like this to be possible. I sent feedback to the hotel, not to ask for a refund, but to make sure that no one else gets infected and to...

Very good place nere the water Very good place, good food and exelent view. The bartender is very skillfull he can make drinks that taste "wunderbar". We will be back

A truly superb hotel, deserving in every aspect of their 5-star rating. The rooms were spacious & comfortable (as was the bed!) and the balcony was lovely. Bathrooms are modern & water pressure very good. The best part of this stay was the staff - incredibly professional, accommodating and knowledgeable about their business. I would especially like to thank the team for all the perks & friendly treatment...

Loved it overall. Squeaky clean rooms (and hotel as a whole). Has elevator and wheelchair access. Great food in a restaurant. The only sore point would be tiny and outdated bathroom. Still, nice package overall.

We choose this hotel because of it's spa services and that it was directly on the beach. The reception area is light and modern. The staff are friendly but speak mainly German but do their best to speak English. The rooms are big enough and are clean and light. The beds are very comfortable. The spa facilities are very good and very welcoming after a long and cold walk on the beach.

4 star ? Should be reevaluated . No dinner after 20:00 hrs , no room service, 250 euro per night without the possibility to open a window. Not even a 2star

Great location, friendly personnel, sauna and workout room up to date, nice wellness area and great breakfast buffet. Rooms pricey but in good shape.

+ Awesome location, + outstanding service, +spacious rooms, + delicious breakfast buffet The Ambassador is located in front of St. Peter’s wooden pier, close to a small shopping area and a less crowded beach section with several stilt houses. This area is called St. Peter Bad and located in the middle of the long spread community of St. Peter at the German North Sea shore. The hotel is managed privately...

The hotel needs a bit of updating. Clean and comfy but getting a bit tired. First impressions are always at check-in, unfortunately not my best experience. Staff not the most polite and information was at a minimum. Advertised as a spa hotel, yes they have a spa but unfortunately it doesn’t open until 14:00( the pool opens at 8:00)No information about this on booking. Was told by one member of staff...

December 2024 Grömitz Dejligt hotel, lækker morgenmadsbuffet og fin og ren pool/spa område.

Very good experience with the service desk - the friendliest with a lot of smiles.

A very nice hotel, 4 stars, it deserves more. Everything was very nice, very clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was superb, plentiful, and delicious. A compliment to the kitchen! I will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

This was our first time staying in an apartment with three children. Everything was perfect: clean, beautiful rooms, a great pool, excellent service with friendly staff. I can only recommend this hotel to anyone with children!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. I can only recommend it; everyone here is so nice! On our last morning, there was no water. The receptionist apologized over the phone and asked for a little patience. Even at breakfast, when the water damage was even more noticeable, everyone was very polite. You should make the best of this situation! We will definitely be back!

Very satisfied Excellent welcome upon checkin - the hotel and it’s amenities were shown in a professional friendly manner. Dinner was delicious with generous portions

Great Experience I liked the place. They take their business really serious. A bit old fashioned and that makes the charm of this hotel. When I arrived on a late Sunday afternoon, the manager on duty insisted to personally show me around and to explain all the features of the hotel to me. I stayed for three days and had a great time. The restaurant is a bit pricey but offers excellent food.

As long as they allow smoking inside hotel (bar area), we will not come back.

Lovely 3-night stay in this great hotel located in an old building with character by the beach. Personnel are supper attentive and pay great attention to detail. Facilities include gym, swimming pool and a spa area with saunas. Great breakfast experience with varied buffet and a la carte options.

Wonderful, clean hotel with hands on management. The breakfast buffet is great and the hotel hosts a top bar. The location is perfect for the beach and a short distance from the train. Look forward to coming back - thanks to all for making this hotel worthy of its 5 stars

Great traditional grand hotel with family service and a prime location!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The standard rooms are fine and very clean. The lobby bar was cozy with a nice fireplace, quite areas with nice furniture and fair bar prices. The breakfast was excellent, and the half board dinner was delicious and fair priced. The wellness area was just perfect, small but with a good variety of saunas.

The staff is very friendly albeit sometimes a bit confused and not everyone speaks English. The facilities is however very nice with big rooms, cozy spa and a very nice lobby. We stayed over New Year’s Eve and was very happy during the stay. The spot gets one star less just because I half of the hotel has a view of the parking spot. Not the worse but it’s good to know when you are booking.

We really enjoyed the cosy lounge with bar - the span area is very well kept and super clean. We stayed during winter, but the out door pool looked so amazing. Beautiful with views to the pine forest. we will definitely come back

This place is super comfy and the staff made us feel at home, warmly welcome, and spoiled. The food is delicious and we loved the spa! We can only recommend this place!

the check-in took ages. only one guy is working the reception was very slow and he even pulled another guest first despite we were waiting longer. they have no real decency you would expect from a 5-star hotel. if more people are needed to check-in, even the local supermarket can easily open another checkout. expect no help with your luggage whatsoever. they claim to be a 5-star hotel which is weird...

Excellent. Absolutely excellent. The personnel who work at this hotel are exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous. Everybody from the gardener to the receptionists, from the room cleaning staff to the bar tender - all of them are, without exception, polite and attentive. The hotel itself, refurbished to a high standard in 2012, is very tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. Rooms are...

We stayed in house no. 7 for a week. It was lovely; we lacked nothing. The apartment was very tastefully furnished, and our dog was allowed to come along. We'll be back.

A very nice and lovingly furnished holiday apartment. Almost everything you need is provided. The rental agency is friendly. The price-performance ratio is excellent. I can highly recommend this holiday apartment.

Modern, casual and comfortable A very stylish, comfortable and modern facility. Friendly and direct service. However, the lack of air conditioning in the rooms may be bothersome on hot days.

Everything was very clean and tidy. The balcony was a bit lacking, for example, for drying laundry and, of course, for sitting. Otherwise, everything you need was there.

The bizarre use of Denglish as a language grates a bit... trying too hard to be cool. But that's the only niggle, everything else was fine. The rooms could do with more and better lighting, especially for those of us who have to work on holiday. Loved the free early bird coffee on the roof terrace each morning!

The apartment is on the 6th floor with a view of the south beach. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, and the bathroom and living/sleeping area are functionally furnished. The apartment is clean and well-maintained.

Receptionist made me wait for a very long time before I could check-in. His female colleague did her best to run both the bar, buffett and check-in counter. He wasn't very helpful as well, nor was he able to put the right contact details on the invoice (all of which was taken care of by his colleague on the next morning). Apart from that: rooms are nice and comfortable, breakfast was varied, plenty...

Great Stay! Prisvärt med bästa läge i Timmendorfer Strand.

Close to the beach. Great place to stay when you’re in Timmendorfer Strand. Sometimes a bit pricey though.

This hotel is not exclusiv at all, not worth the money just because its near the beach and ocean. And one lady that welcomes guest to the breakfast was starring as if she had never seen other people than Germans visit this place. Very weird! I would not recomend

Great location in Timmendorfer Strand I think english can be useful when you’re working at the front desk?

Great location in Timmendorfer Strand. Not so comfy beds😐.
