We has been at the hotel several times. Each time and season is perfect.

My wife andbI had an absolutely wonderfully stsy here. Everything you need is in walking distance or a short bus ride. Very peaceful and relaxing area, small town and an amazing little downtown area with many shops and food options. Hightly recommended!

We loved it, everyone was so nice and friendly, the view from our room sensational, just steps away from the beach, all clean and we slept like babies!

The room is clean and has a kitchen. The balcony scenery is my dream, and the staff is very friendly. The only regret is that in this era, in 2023,, the hotel's WI-FI is intermittent，and the hotel did not give any solution.We have been here for six days, and sometimes it is really frustrating.

As we did some visits it was strategic in the right place. Other then that - fire alarm during the night, not working safe in the room - there are better hotels in Lübeck.

A very good high class hotell in a perfect location, close to the city centre. The room quality is very high. The staff was amazing... they really did everything to take care of us. The breakfast was heavenly good. It's a bit pricy to stay here, but if you want to spoil yourself, this is a good place to do it.

In our multi day trip around northern Germany, this was our favorite hotel. Fantastic location close to all of Lübeck attractions, great breakfast, comfortable bed, nice room, great service. Loved it.

Very nice hotel. Just across the river to the altstad. Close to the famous city gate. Big room, big bathroom, big bed. Very delicious breakfast. Parking outside or in the hotel garage.

Facility, service and breakfast were exceptionally good. The only reservations I have are on the check-in and spa time. Checkin is at 1600 which is the latest in the hotels I have been, and spa too. We actually came for the spa and it is pity that on the date of arrival that you cannot use the spa until after you check-in, which is already 1630ish.

I have visited Das James before, and I have always loved it. This time the temperature at the pool was colder than normal, and it was way to cold to swim outside, which is part of the spa experience. Travemunde is a beautiful place. Hotel expensive for the size of the room and expensive parking. Good breakfast but expensive.

The first hotel I see with liar and deceiving management. We mistakenly booked 3 rooms instead of 2. Just 30 minutes later we called the hotel to cancel one room. They said ok and you can ask the reception while checking in. Then reception said we need to ask our boss, every time we asked the reception they said our boss come later. Great hotel with the most friendly staff!

Great location, but it’s hard to get good employees. They didn’t let me get in before 3pm and they fail to Book halbe Pension (breakfast and dinner) for the day after, so I was thrown out of the restaurant when I wanted to have dinner. Terrible experience. If the CEO would only know how bad the service is!…

2 nights for Lübeck Xmas market, very good overall. The personal was absolute top class in service and friendliness. Too low capacity in elevators makes it troublesome during high demand

Very practical location and parking facilities. The reception/lounge area very simple but OK. Rooms exactly as described, but the glass shielding of the the toilet/bathroom facilities are not “private” enough. Restaurant personal seems not educated and the wine/drink menu was only partly available. The chicken was not properly prepared. Breakfast was super.

this hotel does not have AC so summer nights are hot and sensitive people can't sleep. our room faced the inside area where many birds are constantly active - so it's loud. and because we had to open the window due to heat, we could not sleep due to the noise. breakfast was ok, but not special. very large hotel and very busy

Great hotel but major disappointment with the room. No A/C and windows locked from opening. It was very warm, not good for a hotel in this calibre. Otherwise all ok!

The hotel offers free access to the water park, which is great for kids. The rooms are a bit small and not very spacious. There's a diving facility nearby, but it's only open Wednesday through Sunday. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for a family vacation.

Unfortunately, the selection at the evening buffet is not satisfactory. Few German-speaking staff at reception. Few garage parking spaces, no charging option directly at the hotel.

We really enjoyed the hotel. I was in Grömitz with two friends for a few relaxing days. The service in the hotel was very pleasant, the breakfast buffet and the coffee and cake in the afternoon were very plentiful.

A great location minutes to the beach from you room. Spa is great the hot tub is the only thing I can say was not great as it was very shallow. The relaxation pool was a way better option breakfast buffet is great with a huge selection best to arrive earlier as it gets busy

This was our second visit, we had a voucher to redeem, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The wellness area was great, the food was not bad, and staff were friendly throughout. However, checkout felt a bit impersonal — the receptionist didn’t ask about our experience and went straight to the invoice. For the room price, we expected a more thoughtful farewell.

Well kept modern hotel located at the seaside with nice rooms and a very good restaurant- great cuisine and perfect breakfast. The in and outdoor pool are recommendable and the direct access to the beach perfect for a lovely holiday. Staff is very customer oriented and very friendly.

Spa, outdoor pool and restaurant facilities were amazing. Also how quiet it was, in spite of that fact that we had a suite facing the land side of the property, was really good. Bed and mattresses were clean and comfortable. Thelayout of the suite with a full-size adjacent room with a sleep couch for our daughter was just great.

Great location opposite the train station. The service is good. They kept the place very clean and well maintained even though it has been in operations for many years. The breakfast is solid and the live station is always a crowd favourite. The gym is small but functional. There is a rooftop bar which is popular.

Nice stay, but check inn took way to long. Newby? Nice, stayed at many HD inn express can’t say the check inn was express took +10 min, but overall I was satisfied.

Experience was mostly positive, only negative was we had a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom on arrival, but when we brought this to the attention of the reception staff he was very apologetic and gave us a drinks voucher with the new towels. Bed was comfortable, but the room was a little too warm.

The room was very small compared to other Hamptons. They assigned us a room with 2 beds instead of 1. There was barely enough room to walk around the beds. We arrived late to the hotel, and easily found a parking space at the big lot next to the hotel. Evening staff were super friendly, chatty and welcoming. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Great lighting. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was alright, had everything you could need. Proximity to the city center was a bonus.

Easy stay normal room, Breakfast are normal, For parking was easy nearby. 

The bathroom door closed itself and we couldn't get in again, needed do call staff at night. They didn't help, / didn't know how do hepp. But we got it open ourselves luckly. Brakefast was bad, so little food. Mostly vegan meat and pork.

This place is across the central train station but it managed to stay quiet. It is very close to a lot of the sight seeing areas and restaurants. Very convenient. I was on a business trip, and everything was good except the noise. I heard the people in the rooms around me and the street traffic. Maybe it would not have been so bad if the room had a view of the internal yard. The location is perfect, and if I need to return to Lubeck, I will use it again.

We explicit asked for two connecting rooms which were confirmed at reservation and on the day in the reception. We booked Kieler Rooms as asked. We did not get it and after quite reluctant service at the elderly male receptionist we ended after long talks to get two next to each others which didn’t solve the ask. In general a nice hotel with a great breakfast.

I stayed a few days at Steigenberger Conti-Hansa and honestly didn’t want to leave. The rooms are bright, impeccably clean, and immediately comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly good, with plenty of fresh options, and the staff were kind and quick to help with anything. The location is central, yet still peaceful, which was an extra plus. Overall, a really pleasant stay that exceeded my expectations

Very good experience with the service desk - the friendliest with a lot of smiles.

Clean rooms, good shower, hotel right on the beach. No aircondition but we were lucky that it was cool in the night so we could open the windows. Breakfast is to die for! A chef making your omelet the way you like it in front of you.
