Hotels in Arnstadt

A very nice older hotel. We weren’t enthused by cleaning staff opening the door and walking in at 8am. The pillows also left a lot to be desired, but that just seems to be the status quo for Germany. Beyond this the hotel facilities were pretty expansive: steak house, sports bar, bowling etc. a short stroll from town. The rooms were a little older but well furnished as were the bathrooms.

Unfortunately we didn't get a table for dinner on two evenings and had to look for a restaurant in town, although there were free tables when we left that were still free two hours later. Hotel area: Very good. Restaurant: Service (for hotel guests) very bad

The service was great. The breakfast area seemed to be a brewery. It was a great feeling. The roof was made of transparent glass.

Well worth a visit. Room very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places...

The breakfast is very rich and I like it. The room is well heated and very comfortable to stay in during winter. The room layout and bedding are also extremely comfortable. I will come again next time.

Breakfast buffet and food at the restaurant were both great! Staff very friendly. Our bed was not the most comfortable but fine for a couple of nights.there also wasn’t a lift to get to the 2nd floor. Still all in all a positive experience.

Traditional hotel, kept mostly original for more than 400 years

I do not know how many stars this hotel is, but I can say that the room was clean, and the staff was good. The lady can even speak English, which I find promising in Arnstadt, in East Germany. The hotel has not so many facilities however, and I had the impression that it is a family business run by the owners themselves, since there were no waiters for instance, during breakfast, but only the lady...

Lovely hosts, comfortable bed, clean and nicely furnished room, great location. Excellent breakfast. 100% recommend!

More a pension, than a hotel, but it doesn't matter. Services are in top for the value of the money you give. Breakfast is included, and could be better, if the buffet became more international, but for the money you give, it's fine.

Hospitable and friendly reception. Beautiful historic building in historic town. Nice and large room. Very reasonable price. The furniture: an eclectic mix of styles. Private parking lot, good for motorcyclists.

Great value, great location with town in walking distance and area attractions a short drive or train ride away

Nice breakfast and good rooms at a reasonable price. At a main street, but not noisy in the rooms. Has plenty of parking lots.

Arrived on a Sunday about 5pm. No staff only a code for keysafe and my room key. Acceptable room but bath towels rather small and not very absorbant after a shower. Although wifi was advertised after many many attempts with phone, tablet and laptop NO CONNECTION from any of the two connections and passwords. Can only assume yhat when they clised to office the turned off the router. This was very annoying...

The location is the best and breakfast was really good, we enjoyed it very much. Staff and manager were very lovely, truly hospitality service we have been given. Special thanks to Maci, Jimin, Alec and highly recommend it!
