I do not know how many stars this hotel is, but I can say that the room was clean, and the staff was good. The lady can even speak English, which I find promising in Arnstadt, in East Germany.
The hotel has not so many facilities however, and I had the impression that it is a family business run by the owners themselves, since there were no waiters for instance, during breakfast, but only the lady and the man (I guess these were the owners.)
In terms of location, it is located in the city center (or the old town.)
Generally speaking, Arnstadt is a small city, for those who had never visited. My visit was for work, but I don't think there is much to do there for tourism, not sure though!

Lovely hosts, comfortable bed, clean and nicely furnished room, great location. Excellent breakfast. 100% recommend!

More a pension, than a hotel, but it doesn't matter. Services are in top for the value of the money you give.
Breakfast is included, and could be better, if the buffet became more international, but for the money you give, it's fine.

Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Big rooms. Historic place.

Hospitable and friendly reception. Beautiful historic building in historic town. Nice and large room. Very reasonable price. The furniture: an eclectic mix of styles.

Arrived late and hotel was closed. Rang the doorbell as described in reservation but no one opened. Next day the owner was very rude and refused to refund the payment.
