We came to the Atrium Hotel in Pefkochori to stay for 6 days. In my opinion, the hotel’s location is not great — it’s too high up, and if you don’t have a car, you have to walk about 15 minutes to get to the beach or nearby places. Because of the reviews, we were honestly hopeful, but during our stay we faced several issues.

First of all, the Wi-Fi at the hotel is really bad. If you don’t have your own mobile data, it’s very difficult to watch something or even just stay connected. Secondly, the hotel doesn’t have an indoor pool, and the outdoor pools aren’t heated either, so most people who booked in September, like us, probably couldn’t use the pool due to unstable weather conditions. For a hotel like this, I would at least expect the outdoor pool to be heated if there’s no indoor one.

Another issue was the limited variety of food and the lack of informative labeling. The vegan options were almost nonexistent. You can get drinks from the bar during or outside of meal times, but if you want to take a bottle of water to your room, they charge you for it — even though we booked an all-inclusive stay! Did they really expect us to use the single bottle of water given on the first day for six days straight? Because of that, we had to keep carrying water from the bar to our room in glasses.

I can’t say it was a terrible experience, but I also can’t see how this hotel deserves many of the positive reviews (at least based on the period we stayed).

The hotel it’s self is lovely, cleaned everyday fresh sheets & towels & most staff nice. However the food is awful, well the all inclusive is, if you pay for the snacks at lunch time which I assume come from same kitchen but your paying for thats ok. Well the pizza was, burgers on stale buns & no taste to the burger. But least freshly made. As the dining room looks nothing like picture & choice was terrible. Only had 1 decent meal all hols. We had to eat out most time so when paying all inclusive an extra expense all the time. The kids play pool ridiculous hours & half the fountains broken & not working. Fountain not working in small pool & that’s what we wanted for our autistic granddaughter so very disappointed. There was no food for the children either they had fish fingers 1 night out of 10 no nuggets, mini pizza, burgers or anything you get at all other all inclusive I’ve been too. Also snacks in after on all inclusive was left over cobs & crosiants from breakfast with cheese with no taste, turkey & tiny wraps & a cake, horrible & terrible 🤮 Very very disappointed at least company we went with was good so that made our holiday. Would not recommend all inclusive her maybe just stay.

Great location Calm, relaxed & friendly atmosphere Rooms basic but very clean and everthing you’d need Excellent value for money Quiet and peaceful location, with most guest very there to relax and soak up the sunshine. Little to no noise from other guests while in your room. Staff and all very attentive and friendly. Restraunt manager, pool bar and reception staff all very helpful and polite The whole hotel is kept clean and tidy with staff working at all times to maintain this cleanliness level

I would strongly recommend reading all the negative reviews before booking. Greece is beautiful, but staying here definitely was the worst part of my trip. I was nervous sleeping in the room because there was no latch or dead bolt for safety. The room reminded me of something out of a scary movie and the only thing that was cheap about it was the amenities and furnishings.

2 STAR AT BEST. I don't know who rated this hotel but definitely no way it is 4 star by any standards.

Absolutely loved it here, beautiful place to visit. The hotel was very clean and tidy, can't fault it. The food was amazing. The drinks at the bar were a bit disappointing,as we were all inclusive. Our bedroom was a bit out dated needs a revamp. The air conditioning was poor,Had a lovely balcony looked on to the pool. The pool was lovely and always beds available. The manager of the restaurant (kamil)was very pleasant and helpful always made sure we had a seat. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would visit again.

We had a really lovely stay at Hotel Atrium. The pool area is beautiful, plenty of space and no fighting for a sunbed. Our room was nice and the staff were amazing – a big shoutout to Casper at the bar and the reception team who couldn’t have been more helpful. Yes, the hotel is up a steep hill, but the free mini bus service (and the fantastic driver!) made it really easy. The location is great – just steps away from the charming old town where you’ll find authentic Greek food and a much more peaceful vibe than the main ***** by the beach (although that is great too!). On the downside, our shower wasn’t great, and both the food and drinks were fairly basic. That said, some of the horrendous reviews we read before coming couldn’t be further from our experience. The reality is it’s a three-star hotel being sold as a four-star, so expectations might be too high. For us (two families with teenager children) it was a lovely hotel in a beautiful area, with wonderful staff and we all had a great time.

First time I've ever written a review even though we have travelled for a lot of years. This is my honest opinion. My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks at the Atrium Hotel for an all inclusive board. Value for money ...my honest opinion is that if we paid what we paid for room only we would have received an absolute bargain. The all inclusive ( although to be honest, was not the best quality of food options or drink options) is at am amazing value for money...because like I have already said ...we woukd have hapily paid what we paid for room only. This is why. The hotel is up a little hill...but offers exceptional views and this of course means fab photo opportunities. Beautiful walk down is 5 minutes to town. Can get the free bus back or if you have a late night or taxi is a mere 5 Euros. Room was perfect, everything you need and with a lovely view. The reception staff which were always so very polite, helpful including Anastasia who was so patient with us (we kept putting 5 numbers in the safe set up... instead of 4 numbers) and other reception staff too we're all so lovely. Our room was beautiful and a big thank you to the lovely cleaner who ensured our bedding nd towels was always fresh and clean. Clean towels wvery day and beds changed 2 to 3 times per week. The bar staff and restaurant staff were always friendly and very professional too. The pool was fabulous and a lovely peaceful vibe. The other guests were a mix of English and Eastern Europeans who were all very pleasant including a lovely lady from Bulgaria who I chatted with around the pool area. There was a lady that worked at the hotel that we didn't quite get to speak to but always had a smile and a friendly hello that collected the drink beakers around the pool and watered the grass and to be honest never stopped keeping everywhere around the grounds spotless ( lovely lady with short dark curly hair). We didnt see a single insect anywhere on the entire holiday including not a single mosquito bite ( i normally get ate alive) . The transfer/mini bus driver called Veeghan was very polite too and even the shop keeper was so very pleasant too. Evening entertainment was mostly for the children, however my husband and I got up on the Karaoki to sing albeit adults entertainment was only for half an hour which was a bit of a shame. The bars and restaurants in the area are exceptional value for money. Pefkohori, Affitos and Glavorkavos included. Beach bar Fiki is amazing. The waiter there called Angelaise is an amazing guy. Would we go back?. 1000 percent and be happy to pay what we paid for room only. We had an amazing holiday. Greek hospitality is the best in the world. Greek people are warm, friendly and peaceful people...no matter where we go. We have been to Crete, Corfu, Zante, Costa, Rhodes and different regions on those Islands and have always been made so welcome and been taken good care of. Halkidiki has been near if not 'thee' top place. So go and enjoy. It truly is a wonderfu

Just back from 2 weeks here and we all loved it.Luckily we booked a private transfer so we could be dropped off at reception,if not coaches drop you off in town and the hotel get the shuttle bus to come and get you.We found all the staff so friendly especially the reception team, all very helpful. The pools were warm enough to do aqua zumba etc with the animation team, who work really hard ,a lovely couple. The rooms were ok,air conditioned worked well, needed that at night. The food was OK always found something ,but not a great choice for kids.Bar staff again were really friendly and never had to queue. We did hire pool towels and a kettle and you get your deposit back.Took shuttle bus down town and to the beach ,its not too steep a walk back . A lovely holiday had by all
