Anthea Hotel in Tinos Town

Fantastic hotel, location and staff

Friendly, welcoming hotel with port shuttle service and an incredible restaurant for breakfast and dinner (lunch is a reduced menu, but you can always venture out). Our room was spacious with a huge terrace and the bed was comfortable. Quiet AC wall unit cooled down fast, even during the heat wave. The on-site restaurant and service team are THE HIGHLIGHT of staying at Anthea. Make sure to come very very hungry as the portions are HUGE, but the food is also very very delicious.

My wife and i had a wonderful time this past week, July 10--16, 2016, at Anthia, Tinos. Having been there before we knew what to expect: wonderful service and people. The location is lovely, breakfast and and service exemplary, the place is very clean and tidy, and the staff going beyond the call of duty, esp. Mr. Panagiotis and Ms. Eugenia, to help out. E.g., a strong wind blew my prescription glasses off my hand creating a needle in a haystack type of situation The two of us could not find them, but Mr. Panagiotis searched patiently and saved me from immense trouble for replacing them. I am really grateful! Even without it it would still have been our best experience in an Aegean island hotel in the last fifteen years! Most Highly recommended.
