Kalesma Mykonos Sunrise in Ornos

We enjoyed a fabulous week in September at this proper 5 star resort. Starting with the people, they were all really great, friendly, and knowledgeable. Any requests we had, whether on the property or about the area were always addressed right away and the recommendations were perfect.
Aby, the owner was on site during our stay and was super friendly and showed genuine concern for his guests comfort.
i would mention other staff by name but i dont want to leave anyone out. without exception they were all great.
we had a beautiful sea view room with private pool. the room was spacious, well equipped, and beautifully constructed. the design and quality of everything about the room was over the top. we are accustomed to 5 star resorts and this room topped anywhere else we have stayed.
the hotel is somewhat secluded up on a hill which allowed for spectacular sea views, sunrises, and sunsets.
the remote location (20 minute drive to best beach clubs (Nammos, Scorpio, etc.). so you do have some taxi expenses to consider but we preferred this to car rental. the hotel has great vehicles and provides prompt shuttle service to and from wherever you want to go.
anyway, this is getting a little long but i can assure you this is real 5 star living. good people, good food, chilled out ambience, and beautiful rooms. compliments to Aby and his entire team.
btw, september is the time to go. great weather, busy but not crowded.

This place is top notch... absolutely second to none... the concierge or super thorough and detailed and you can definitely tell that they tremendously care about the experience...Rula Patryck Dimitra Vasilis...an extraordinary team... the rooms are impeccable the views are to die for the Landscaping is out of this world you will literally feel like you are in heaven on Earth because that's what this place is... I am so incredibly grateful that I have the opportunity to stay at this place and I will carry these memories with me forever if you have the opportunity to stay here I highly recommend it and if you are getting married there would be no better place to stay for your honeymoon...this places exudes love ...❤️🌻❤️🌻❤️

My wife and I recently stayed at Kalesma Mykonos for our babymoon, and it quickly became one of our favorite hotel experiences to date.

The hotel is beautifully designed in authentic Cycladic style, with clean white architecture, elegant natural elements, and breathtaking views over Mykonos and the Aegean Sea. Everything on the property—from the rooms to the pool to the shared spaces—feels thoughtfully designed and well-maintained.

The location is ideal—just minutes from Ornos Beach, one of our personal favorites on the island. It offers easy access to beach clubs and local restaurants while still feeling peaceful and private.

One of the highlights of our stay was the restaurant on-site, which we consider one of the best in Mykonos. We found ourselves ordering the Greek salad and spicy feta dip every day—it was that good. The menu is fresh, local, and consistently excellent.

But what truly made the stay memorable was the service. The staff was kind, helpful, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Aby, the owner, was present each day and made a point to check in on us personally. His hospitality felt genuine, and he shared great recommendations that helped us make the most of our time on the island.

As someone who works in the travel industry, my wife was especially impressed. She plans to recommend Kalesma to all of her clients heading to Greece. It’s a perfect fit for couples, families, or anyone looking for a high-end, peaceful, and authentic stay in Mykonos.

I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, From the moment my daughter and I stepped into the reception we were greeted by friendly reception staff and the wonderful manager Konstantinos who was so helpful and amazing. The whole complex is immaculate, Rooms are spacious and feel luxurious. Food is excellent . The hotel housekeeping staff go the extra mile and rooms and outside areas are cleaned throughly everyday . Everyone was so helpful and a special mention to Vasilis and Voula on reception who could not do enough for us . We will be back !

A truly beautiful and peaceful hotel in a wonderful location. The room was warm, elegantly designed, and incredibly comfortable — I slept better than ever. The staff were kind, and genuinely welcoming, always ready with excellent recommendations for places to visit. You can feel that every detail has been carefully thought through: from the choice of materials in the interior to the lushly designed outdoor spaces.
